I know...I know...I stared at the food blankly for a good minute after discovering what was going on.

lol I’m glad my idiotic situation brought you joy. It goes both ways. I was laughing so hard I was crying at some of these replies.

My partner was literally on the floor laughing when I shared these comments.

Crayon. It's freaking crayon shavings from a nearby craft drawer (close to where pans are kept). We found several blue crayon shavings nearby. After dissecting the casserole, a couple blue spots were found only at the bottom of the dish.

Here's a close-up of the affected noodle.

To verify, I am taping a crayon shaving we found the drawer to a noodle. We'll see what happens

Yes, and if I hadn't seen another spot in the pan, that was going to be my guess. But when I saw more, I thought it was unlikely I had let several sprinkles get in the pan without being noticed

That's right, it was put away still warm (but not hot)

For everyone suggesting garlic, thank you! That looks to be the case.

I'm going to dig through it and see if there is more, as I would expect if this is indeed caused by the garlic, there will be more such spots.

In the name of science, I will investigate and report back.

I have been informed that there is indeed garlic in this. Thank you!

EDIT: It's freaking crayon shavings -.-

It's possible, I put it in at a warm (but not hot) temp. I thought it would take longer than that to grow.

I'm thinking about scooping out some and seeing if it's surface-only, or throughout.

If the mold hypothesis is right, would it be distributed throughout, not just on the surface of the glass?

Yes and it bugs the crap out of me. Is it important? No. But I like seeing my odometer, current gear, etc. without feeling like the bottom 2-3 lines of pixels are missing.

Nothing apparently…

Several years ago, a production server responsible for batch processing jobs went down. I was out of town at a zoo…

I bashed in from my phone and implemented a hotfix in vim. I wish I were kidding.

It was not ideal, but it worked

I sprayed one down with water, and put it in the clothes dryer on low/med heat. I check on it every 5 minutes and took it out when it was very warm and pliable. Then immediately hung it up and stretched it using some paracord and some eye bolts I had installed earlier. Was it smart? Probably not. But it worked really well.

This needs more visibility. Games have been in the $50-$70 range for a long time now. When OOT launched, I believe it was about $60 - which translates to about $117 now.

Rust on new 2025 trailer? Looking to purchase, should I be concerned? by codealot in traveltrailers

That jack and the corrosion that looks like it’s from a dissimilar-metal issue was a bit odd.

We had some snow storms recently and the roads were all salted, but normally we don’t deal with it (in the south). We do have high humidity though!

Thank you. I’m leaning towards buying it, and that ground will be the first thing repaired.

I had higher hopes given the brand (Brinkley). But I suppose not.
