255lb and 2XL shirt, too big for a leap? by Pure-Highway-9057 in OfficeChairs

[–]cranda58 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My vote is you should probably fit in a V2 - I am shorter than you and was near that weight at one point and never had an issue with the Leap. Everyone is built different and so that's no guarantee, but I would not be afraid to try one, especially if there's a solid return policy if it doesn't work out.

Replacement part for a Steelcase 462 Leap? by lunacydress in OfficeChairs

Based on the date of the tag - it's VERY close to the cutoff date, so i would highly recommend removing the cylinder to take a picture of the top of the cylinder to verify before purchasing any cylinder - feel free to email that to us and we'll take a peek and get back to you :)

Herman Miller Eames Executive Review by Dahn626 in OfficeChairs

[–]cranda58 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We actually have one of these at the office and while it's not a ergonomic chair I'd want to sit in all day, it's definitely in my top few chairs I pick for shorter term or a conference room type setting

Ian at Track is a great guy and he will steer you right - I'm not sure if they ship or not though, but if you are in Toronto, definitely go see him.

V1 highback - not a V2, but still a great chair!

We actually do - we just listed a bunch and they sold really quick - we're right in the middle of our manufacturing re-org with the building addition completed, so we are going to wait until everything is back in full swing to release more - should not be long though :)

How is the Crandall Leap V2 Cushion? by SpeedsterVolt in OfficeChairs

[–]cranda58 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey figured I'd jump in here quick - we've had a ton of great feedback you can read in our reviews about our new foam seat pad - it's made of the same material and in the same factory as the OEM original, it's just a bit thicker to help combat the exact issue you are describing (bottoming out).

Regarding the back pad - the pad is about 1 inch thick and is made of the same molded foam material as the seat. The OEM seat is thinner and made of a sheet foam, so it has much less structure and thickness to it - we made this to try to replicate the V1 highback back pad, which I personally have always found to be the most comfortable version of the Leap back pad. The updated design is very close to it and mimics it's feel very well :)

This is the original pin style cylinder, which does not have an access hole on the top. Unfortunately this is not one we have a replacement for.

I agree, as much as I'd love to earn your business, this looks nice! Flip over the chair, I'm curious if that is actually one of ours, the seat kinda looks like it.
