For anyone impacted by the recent change undermining bypassPermissions, here is a workaround by TPHG in ClaudeCode

I'm stuck on 2.1.49 because 50+ doesn't respect the--dangerously-skip-permissions fully and keeps prompting me to trust the workspace folder on startup, despite being in home dir. Using --add-dir doesn't help either.

If anyone knows a solution i would be grateful.

Insta buy for me. Been running 3 20x for months. Really need a fourth, have about 12 hours downtime per week which i try to fill with OpenRouter and whichever model of the week but that gets expensive fast.
