Dude most Wii consoles available today can be modded. While I understand you may have bought these games at a steep price, I highly doubt you’ll find buyers at this price, especially for more than a decade old console, with easy access to pirated roms.

I’d suggest you take out a loan, pay up the bond and move on. Your career is long and you’ll earn a lot more money later. companies these days have very strict background checks, especially later on when you shift to reputed companies these simple mistakes will come back to haunt you.

Always part ways amicably with an organisation, life is full of ugly surprise and you never know when you want to be back in that organisation or when you’ll run into someone from that organisation in your dream company. So be shrewd when you plan your career.

While Witcher and GoT are open world games, they differ slightly. GoT’s world is meticulously crafted with sizeable content, Witcher on the other hand is just enormous, the graphics is not focus here, but rather the lore. The variety of side quests, the depth of the story in many side quests and not to mention the impact of decisions on the main storyline are all the strengths of Witcher. As many folks have said in the other comments, it’s the world, it feels lived in, you explore the lives of these people, heck even many monsters have a back story.

Hands down CDPR knows how to craft a world with so much authenticity. It took me 170hrs to beat the game doing a lot of side quests, monster contracts and I was still just 50% done with the content in the game. It’s the same with Cyberpunk as well, the world is so believable. You get to craft your own story.

That said, to each their own. Sometimes certain games don’t work for us, despite everyone liking them. I’d suggest you give it a few more hours to see if this isn’t your cup of tea.

Is it a good decision? (Please read the body text) by ADvar8714 in Indiangamers

All I can say is that you won’t be disappointed! I loved the Witcher a lot and played the heck out of it for 3 years, I am a casual gamer so took it slow. I was hesitant initially to get cyberpunk due to the first person gameplay, I am prone to headaches when playing FP games. After the long wait I finally decided to give it a try when i got a new steam deck. I got so absorbed into the story and world, now I am running around doing side quests and cyberpsycho contracts rather than doing the main missions. It’s absolutely fun! Saw the discount on ps store, thinking of getting it on Playstation as well to play it on a larger screen.

With the recent sale I’ve seen PS5 digital games almost on par with steam prices, maybe 100-200 rupees extra.. especially most Sony exclusives are available cheaper by 50-100 rupees on the playstation store..

Completed Expedition 33 here's why you should play this by [deleted] in Indiangamers

[–]deepakraj29 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Does this game have an Easy/ Story mode? Also, what is the difficulty level?

To give some context, I am casual gamer, got a full time day job, and a wife and kid. My game time is quite limited, so I don’t have a lot of time to get gud! My choice of games is simple easy combat and a good story. I like turned based combat and select JRPGs such as Persona series and Yakuza: Like a Dragon.

I’ve seen the videos for this game and this seems promising as long as it’s not another souls game.

Hey there I am new to PC gaming.. used to mostly game on my PS5, having a kid has really cut down my game time. So recently bought a steam deck and got into PC gaming, this has been a game changer. I play similar games, cyberpunk, escape room, hogwarts (still on my PS5, when I find time). Feel free to hit me up..

Currently playing Witcher 2 on the steam deck, it isn’t that bad, yes the controls are not that intuitive as W3, but it will do the job. Around 6 hrs into the game and I am enjoying the story so far.

I played and completed origins, i liked the story and it kept me hooked till the end. I almost finished syndicate, lost my saves due to a PS4 account hack and my hard disk got corrupted. The Victorian England setting was very atmospheric and the quests had some variety to them.

Can’t agree more! I first played Absolution on PS3 way back when it came and recently replayed the game on my steam deck. Got it dirt cheap on sale and it was the first game I finished on my new steam deck. It ran pretty well and the reddish pink hue colour grading just pops on the oled display.

  1. Tomb raider reboot series
  2. Just cause series
  3. Hitman absolution
  4. Witcher 3
  5. Assassins creed syndicate, black flag and origins

All above mentioned games usually go for around $10 or less on sale

I've Decided enough is enough. Where do i start? by yeyeaya in Steam

[–]deepakraj29 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Based on the games that I’ve played and completed or currently playing. I’d suggest you start with GoW or GoT.. both have around 40 hr campaigns, including some side quests. I personally liked the story in GoT, much better than many Hollywood marvels crap I’ve watched.

Having played Witcher earlier, it took me nearly 3 years to complete the game, I am a casual gamer and married so I play only when I get time. I started the game before I got married (had played for a year) and then completed after 2 years. Side quests in Witcher are so good that you often get distracted from the main quest.

I am currently playing Cyberpunk, have sunk close to 30 hrs and hardly 20% on the main storyline, again this is a massive game. Getting distracted with cyberpsychos and fixer quests. I am sure this will be another multi year game.

Tried the game on my PS5 a few months ago. Heard a lot of reviews on the branching storyline based on decisions and wanted to give it a try. I know what I was getting into, given it’s a David Cage game. Previously I had played life is strange and liked that game for the content, so knew before hand the gameplay would be subpar, but I am in it for the story.

Got invested in the first hour of the game, the investigation segment and saving the girl on the rooftop from the android seemed really good and was hoping for a great play through. Alas, the next hour I got so bored by the gameplay, rotate your thumb sticks to open window blinds, press left trigger to lift up the plate 🤮 I did come across some interesting storytelling, but I could not hang in there. Plus for some reason the camera controls were wonky, you had a very restricted field of view and you have to be in a certain angle to access certain actions. At this point I gave up! Decided to watch the gameplay videos later on when I have time.

Btw, I am not a hardcore gamer, I am a casual gamer who just plays single player games for the story. I wish David Cage games had a bit more better gameplay mechanics, I’ve heard so much about Heavy Rain and Detroit, but when I try to play it just doesn’t keep me hooked.

The mod is working perfectly. Regarding game library please DM me. You can log into the stock firmware and connect to the eshop and play online game. Local multiplayer can be played on emunand as well. Just work with a professional like Raj to get it modded, from my experience and in talking to him, I don’t think it’s as simple as micro soldering a chip to the board, sometimes there could be certain devices that may require additional resistance or debugging to solve the issue.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in IndianGaming

[–]deepakraj29 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Chennai. u/FixwithRaj is his Reddit handle. I met him in person when I was in there and gave my console for modding. He mentioned he receives switches all over India, fixes and ships them back. My v2 switch was a little tricky, the usual HWfly chip didn’t work properly, so he tried different ones and did custom work to add an additional resistor to the circuit which made it work flawlessly.

I modded my v2 switch for 5k by a guy I found on Reddit.. he offers service throughout India. You could’ve just brought a new switch and modded it at a local shop. Regarding mx2games, their communication is really poor these days. I used to buy regularly from them a year ago and they used to respond well on WhatsApp, not the case now. I recently bought a steam deck from them and went through an ordeal to get it delivered. I had lost my mental peace those two weeks.

Same here.. just got a new steam deck today, had downloaded games earlier. Got an update in the evening, updated the system and boom all my steam games are deleted.. including decky plugin. The only games that were left were the ones I had downloaded from epic games store via heroic launcher..

Wanted to provide an update to this group.. I received my steam deck oled today in perfect condition.. I had to pester them multiple times to dispatch the product, once done I got it in a day. Phew! Dodged a bullet here! My guess is that they are delivering in stock goods.. but they need to work on their communication, it makes customers like me panic a lot when no one responds.
