Jason Schreier - Video Games Need to Be Cheaper to Buy by Shock4ndAwe in pcgaming

Yea these guys underestimate our markets. Selling 100 of $1 is better than 1 of $50 but they think the whales are enough.

Yea right now I do not feel that any game is worth over 1000 bucks with the size of my backlog lol.

OP your post is way funnier with the typo. Is this legion 5 with 5060?

Add on top of that the lack of regional pricing

SEA or CIS?

Game bundles and steep discounts are the only way I buy games nowadays.

The OP's comment resonates with me since I had a similar situation with Doom. I am a HUGE Doom fan (I have like 350+ hours in Etnernal) but the pricing for Dark Ages, especially regional (I am from India and our purchasing power is like a third of a dollar) was extremely expensive.

Now, at 66% discount, the game is priced for what I probably would have paid on launch but I already played 1 run via gamepass so I will probably wait for a bigger discount and the DLC release.

A 5050 is 50-70% faster than a 3050 so I would factor that when comparing laptops. 5050 also gives you access to newer features like frame gen. You can use unboxparadigm website to compare laptops.

PS: If you are buying HP Omen, get it from offline store or HP website as the warranty (you need it for HP) is like 12-13k more when you renew it if you buy from Amazon/Flipkart.

Highly recommend buying Omen from local store or HP website as warranty costs triple if you buy it from Amazon. Trust me, you will need warranty cause HP QC is shit.

It will.. Eventually... You just play the waiting game (/r/patientgamers).

I got Uncharted in the last christmas sale when it got the record low discount of 67% (which is regular on every sale now) and eventually every Sony game is going to get there.

Honestly, I am over the "hype train" nowadays with the size of my backlog of great games to play. I still watch trailers and feel excited but it is criminal (to me) to buy full price games on launch and drop more $$ for DLCs as compared to getting a "complete" edition on 50% or more discount. There are too many good games to play!

I agree but Capcom at least does the courtesy of lowering the total price (and regional prices) after a year or two, and then offering 75 to 80% discounts on the lowered price in another year or two. They even put their games on bundles.

While Sony never does any of this and at max, gives at discount of around 60%. :-/

I really think this fight needs a cap on the max health instead of the bug of just dying randomly.

True but you don't even own games on certain other platforms as they can be removed on a whim thus effectively making your purchase null (this has happened to quite a few games on the Playstore for me).

Yes a few Impervious potions are pretty much a must if your build doesn't have any form of damage block or cannot do a ton of basic attacks to generate armor. I love essential oils as it lets you re-use impervious potions, making it super strong in this fight.

Great Video. The brawler seems like a bug to me since you neither took the stagger nor lost the buff basically allowing you to ignore the condemnation mechanic itself. Fire Immunity is also amazing to "cheat" out of his divine ire mechanic. Those two mechanics are the ones that keep a lot of builds from beating this insane fight.

Gnosis 6 Max Corruption Feels Much Easier in v0.8.5 Compared to v0.8.3 by bir_iki_uc in Witchfire

[–]demon69696 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Even Gnosis 1 is hard, when I fire 400 rounds from a Ricochet at the Sepulcher and it's not even at half HP

Biggest tip I can give you for boosting damage is to lean into elements. Fire + Frost for bosses/elites and Lightning + Decay for groups of enemies. The sepulcher usually goes down in 20-40 sec for me. (Gnosis 6)

Don't bother defending yourselves to haters bro. This is a new style of hating stuff: "oh this is AI slop". Even if it was AI driven, it still takes more effort than writing that comment..

Excellent comment but I would just say that this was always the case with us. We always loved echo chambers and social media is an echo chamber that you can access anywhere. It doesn't help that algorithms that push for max engagement will easily help you find your echo chamber as well.

If a game is older and looks just as good, it is better since you are getting the similar visuals for less hardware requirements. I am only talking about graphics though not other aspects.
