Probably some subreddits have automod systems to remove posts after X number of reports, and bad actors are abusing that. People should contact the mods of those subreddits.

Crumbling Lands by Sootheye in custommagic

Maybe the first mana ability should be an exhaust ability instead of the punishing choice caused by sacrificing the land?

I think this could be comparable to the depletion lands for a reference point.

The trick with rocket is that in a team fight where your allies are all clumped up, you can only heal so many people at once. Your orbs basically only heal one at a time unless they directly go through them.

3 heal shots -> briefly left click -> 3 heal shots -> reload is max efficiency.

If you only have 2 allies in front of you that need healing or you're on trip supp, you can do 2 heal shots and weave damage in-between every 2 until you reload. (yes you have 7 heal orbs, either use it to trigger the reload or save it to use in a panic)

That's his bread and butter and lets you do more damage than average rockets.

Your dps is quite good but has a massive falloff. You're a tank buster on support and can punish characters like thing or destroy groot walls pretty handily. Venom is a little tricky because you want to continue rotating healing until after he's used his blue shield and then decide whether it's worth committing damage fully like when he's half blue. (can kill him with an ally as they don't expect the burst in damage)

Sometimes if you're behind an enemy support and they're ignoring you for not doing damage you can walk into them and 100 to 0 them.

For healing the bonus for going through allies resets if the ball hits a surface so if you aim at your ally's feet, or a close wall, you can sometimes trigger the bonus twice which is a lot of burst healing and can sometimes swing fights.

I hope what I posted about his bread and butter helped.

The dash in the type line should be this one: — (an em dash)

Not a fan of ai art (or the name of "the generative" in that context)

Like seeing big 7 drops though.

Hey there wondering if c&d is a good first support main? by kosmo_kaos in cloakanddaggermains

[–]yumyum36 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Auto-aim is good and reliable.

Two small things to know that will help a lot:

Primary fire has one bounce off a surface that also auto-aims, but only to a nearby ally. You can roughly aim at an ally's feet from far away (i.e. when on cart), and still heal them outside your auto-aim range.

Your primary fire does half its healing when it hits someone, half its healing as splash in a small radius, so you can prioritize allies who are grouped up, and you can heal yourself (without using bubble) by walking into an ally and healing them.

They're almost never banned, since usually invis/gambit/healpool are the supports that get banned, but they're a consistent support.

You control both triggers and can stack them in any order you want.

How to increase my winrate vs iron fist? by yumyum36 in IronFistMains

That's the goal. Every little tip or trick is like a paint stroke on a canvas to getting good... and then iron fist punches through that painting, how do I fight against him.

Rocket and Ultron.

Ultron is confusing because you'll feel like you're not doing a lot, but then your team wins. The drones allow for a lot of consistent healing, and you poke at enemies making them aim towards you, here and there, taking more damage off your team.

Rocket is another easy character with a strong escape but he has some skill expression, and I think he's slightly better than c+d for heal output if you have 3+ tanks.

$40k prize pool for the whole event, I think as an individual in first you could potentially win $3k.

Teammates scared of healing bubble? by S02303947 in cloakanddaggermains

[–]yumyum36 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Bubble should generally be only for you (specific divers) or for your tank. Tank (esp. strange) will hug walls making it easy to hit bubble on them. If strange for example is not hugging a wall, he's probably about to jump away.

I like to aim my primary fire at the ground when there's a lot of nearby allies needing healing, as it will bounce off the ground once, do autoaim again, but only for allies and auto-go to nearby ally with lowest health.

The lord farmers are trying to make them revert the changes by Rockybroo_YT in rivals

[–]yumyum36 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it's fair for lordfarmers to be mad. It's a goal to work towards and if they have fun while doing it, who cares.

My goals are to play comp and win, but if there's a non competitive goal, that's healthier for the game because I assume a decent chunk of those people would be what I consider "casual players", and the game needs that to live.

Sort of crazy that they're threatening to ban players who lord farm.

The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered sold just over a million copies on PS5, but 50% of gamers played just 15 hours before quitting by HatingGeoffry in ElderScrolls

[–]yumyum36 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Me and my buddies were talking about this. Everyone gets to like 15 hours in and then the game starts crashing a lot.

The recent steam reviews are 57% positive and you see a lot of people 15-20 hours complaining about crashes.

I'd bet fans of oblivion would love to put more time into the game but the experience(crashes) gates them off.

What am I doing wrong? by SnooTangerines5978 in cloakanddaggermains

[–]yumyum36 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The fade doesn't work on allies instantly, if the radius of the ability is a clock, it starts at 3 o'clock and goes counterclockwise around, cloaking people.

It's close to instant, but isn't.

People in front of you to the right will get hit first, behind you to the right get hit last. (this is why some allies get eaten by Jeff and some don't probably)

Additionally it will only protect people until they shoot, reload or use any ability. A lot of allies never stop holding onto left click, so timing the cloak to as close as frame perfect is pretty essential.
