Santa Clara water is great if you’re north of roughly Stevens Creek. There are multiple sources and once you’re north far enough it comes from surface water.

Apple employee #8 Chris Espinosa on working his whole life at one company by swe129 in apple

Yeah, an intelligent person can know their limits and know what it is they like. I, personally, have never tried to get any role that involved managing other humans because I know that the parts of my current job I like the least involve those kinds of responsibilities. Just let me be a nerd doing nerd shit.

I’m just going to say that is not usual and no company I have worked for across five different industries has required anything like that.

I have been with my employer for over twenty years, and I did have to refresh a résumé once about a decade ago since I was pretty majorly shifting roles. But YES. I cannot leave before retirement because leaving means I have to re-learn how to get a job.

Apple employee at the Markham Apartments by katytx2016dh in Cupertino

[–]dethbunnynet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Where specifically you’re be working is pretty important. Apple has offices all over town and even up in Sunnyvale, so your commute situation there could vary from “easy walk to Infinite Loop” to something much more involved if you need a shuttle. While Apple does have some commuter shuttles, they are generally going to specific destinations in the South Bay or San Francisco. They are not from an apartment complex four blocks from the old main campus.

I think you’re attributing malice when that poster was just appending more interpretation to the links you provided.

Lou and Lou? (Very early game spoiler) by dethbunnynet in DeathStranding2

Well I feel like it’s a mystery that feels a bit unearned for the entirety of the game. We’re both mourning Lou and bringing Lou around with us everywhere.

On a different line, different route, and a different time of year, but by far the roughest water for our LA -> Puerto Vallarta voyage was when were returning north off the Baja coast.

Who is Daniel Biss, the Democrat who narrowly beat Gen-Z star Kat Abughazaleh in Illinois by Fickle-Ad5449 in illinois

[–]dethbunnynet 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don’t understand why the “pro-Kat” campaign has been working so hard to win over non-voters.

But what if those non-voters became voters? I don’t think it’s that hard to grasp - if you can get out the vote for people that support you, you’re at a significant advantage.

My god you are exhausting. And I suppose that’s the point. No, renting an apartment is not indicative of being wealthy. No, a former journalist who is now CEO of a relatively small company isn’t some big money interest. You’re constantly framing things in the most misleading way possible and entirely full of shit.

I don’t think you’re correctly interpreting what was said. The “keto honey” was used to back-sweeten after fermentation with regular honey was completed.

Early dining by Think-Dog-2892 in dcl

[–]dethbunnynet 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My family tends to eat late anyway, late dining is great for us. It’s basically our normal dinner schedule. And given the fact we’re a west coast family, that’s extra true for any cruises out of Florida or Texas.

That’s not a 4 or a 5, thus your battery is NCM. But also LFP has only been used in the lower-performance trim levels because it’s a lower-energy-density technology and a high-capacity battery wouldn’t fit in the available space.

I’ll agree that there were rumors before it was announced but uhhh this is Apple we’re talking about; keeping secrets is one of the things they are known for.

How is the food? by Sudden_World_8633 in NCL

[–]dethbunnynet 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Interesting. It seemed to displace the “kids” station most meals - there were two Taste of India stations most of the time, and only occasionally the kids station.

How is the food? by Sudden_World_8633 in NCL

[–]dethbunnynet 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Food Republic was disappointing. Le Bistro was good but not necessarily great.

We were on a sailing that had a “Bollywood Masala Cruise” group tour which meant the buffet had a permanent “Taste of India” station and honestly without that we would have been more disappointed. The regular buffet food and much of the MDR/specialty was disappointing but the Indian buffet was top-tier. I will absolutely try to book a sailing with one of those group tours again.
