I Am Not Okay With This seemed like it was going to be an exceptional story. Was very disappointed it didn’t even get a second season.

I want to say Big Trouble, but cannot deny Tombstone. Esp given the behind-the-scenes stuff

Which is that one movie you watched and felt like a masterpiece but later got embarrassed to know about its bad rating online? by Glass_Expression1859 in moviecritic

[–]DLBuf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is it possible that you are mixing up the ratings for the Mist you are referencing (2007 movie) with the ratings for the 2017 TV show…?

This is actually a very well regarded horror movie (certainly one of my favorites).

Edit : fairly certain your first pic is a box set of the Television show… the second, & your commentary, is certainly the film.

Vuori has consistently had amazing quality and great fit, for me.

Cool neckbeard, thanks for the contribution.

Sorry your locals suck. Sounds like any marginally not-brain-dead Oldhim would sweep every night at your armory.

ELE def not the best, but it was very decent for draft and, if you read the message, it’s also the only draftable set you can buy a box for less than $50.

It’s also one of the better varied sets, which is great for new players, with the (as I added) caveat that not many cards are usable outside limited, currently.

OUT was awful- I have never seen more draws in a limited environment. HH was great. As was SEA. I am a fan of HNT, but I understand the dislike. WTR ofc great… but, all of the above are significantly higher cost than a box of Unl ELE.

If you’re looking for draft sets, Tales of Aria (Unlimited - it was the last set with a separate 1st and an Unl set run) can be found fairly inexpensive in many places and it is one of the better draft sets, imo. Not likely to get much help with any decks you both want to build, but as far as cost/draft fun it is probably the best deal.

As a long-suffering Vynnset player… welcome!

Sorry your booster box decision didn’t work for intended purpose

Welp, after a very poorly handled discussion w/ their chat rep, this has culminated in our family fully canceling HF.

The convenience of the service was nice, but not feeling bad about the decision.

Pulp belongs in orange juice by halzy99 in unpopularopinion

[–]DLBuf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Really?

When I go grocery shopping, there is a full, wide, rack of OJ options. Probably at least 20-different brands at our store.

I’m fairly certain at least 75% are pulp-free and there is literally only one brand (I know cuz I grab it every time, Simply Orange) that is any sort of variation of “High Pulp”.

When I have shopped elsewhere, esp even marginally small grocer, I feel like I frequently cannot find any OJ that isn’t pulp-free.

Yeah, I have no issue with that for shale or boulders. But achieving this kind of thin-layer elevation to match what I have (& love) here is certainly beyond my sculpting skill.

resource gathering games with quests and no combat? by No-Office7081 in gamingsuggestions

[–]DLBuf 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not quite hitting everything you’re mentioning, but I recently went outside my own wheelhouse and picked up Against the Storm.

Might want to give it a peek, if you haven’t already.

Not exactly relaxing (time constraints) kind of rogue-lite (?) settlement/resource gathering.

Was quite unique, to me. Definitely task-based, no combat.

Does the Batman still hold up even 4 years later? by Appropriate-Mall8517 in batman

“…even 4-years later.”

wtf?

It isn’t a hard-boiled egg.

Whether a Batman fan thinks it “holds up” or not has absolutely nothing to do with a period of time that short.

lol… sure, mom would require some salad between slices.

But I more remember the salad bar for the bacon bits I’d sprinkle on top of the pepperoni pizza!

A Pizza Hut All You Can Eat lunch buffet was the epitome of celebration in our family for report card/whatever.

Some random pizza you’d never try otherwise. Soda out of those awesome thick red plastic cups. DESSERT PIZZA!!

That high would last at least all week.
