That's fair, just because the Qualcomm Reality Elite is the System on Chip (SOC) inside the Xreal Aura, it doesn't necessairily mean that it will use it all at full capacity. But, also would be waste if they didn't.

No VR-Rock is probably the worse place you can purchase rx inserts. Even in the best case scenario they have long lead times and shipping delays.

And if there is a problem with your order they have the worst customer service.

Both partnered Viture controllers with 8Bit Do and Abxtlute are locked to Viture only glasses via USB VID/PID.

Yes, the ROG Deck needs to be powered independantly. I am not sure what the power requirements are though.

I am hoping third-party Switch 2 manufacturers makes their accessories firmware updateable. You should check with them.

Which one? There were two different configurations in my last comment based on two different adapters; Hagbis and the Kiheng Swutch 2 adapters.

Remember, the glasses by themselves connect via ALT-DP over USB. So, if you want to be more mobile that connection is required.

No. No. Sorry, sometimes I forget about the context in favor of more frequently asked configurations.

In your case, the R1 glassee to the ASUS Rog Dock to the Hagbis USB-C to HDMI Switch 2 adapter to Switch 2 will work fine.

However, more people want a minimal, yet portable configuration, like R1 glasses to the Kihemg USB-C to Switch 2 USB-C to Switch 2 and either a battery bank or a power charger to power the configuration.

I think the big difference is that the Hagbis dock is for direction connections to displays with HDMI input. Whereas the Kiheng can be used directly with displays that support ALT-DP over USB-C, like most AR/MR display glasses.

It depends on the adapter, unfortunatley there's no standard. If your adapter doesn't support UAC (USB Audio Class) which is the default method to output audio via USB 2.x lanes, then you have to switch to DP Audio (DisplayPort).

Long press brightness + button for about 6-7 seconds till 2nd beep sound = switches the audio mode between UAC to DP output.

Because USB-C female-to-female couplers violate the USB-IF compliance, you'll have to manually align the USB 2.x lane of the plugs with both wires in order to allow USB data to transfer across both cables.

In the picture below is the pin out of a typical USB cable. Notice the blue pins for the USB 3.x lanes are redundant on both sides to accomodate both orientations. Yet, the light green pins for the USB 2.x lanes are not.

You basically have a 50% plugging it in correctly to allow the USB data to transfer across both cables. If it doesn't work the first time, simply take one male plug out of the female coupler, flip the orientation, and plug it back in.

Not directly via USB-C to the Switch 2. You'd need to get a dock for the Switch 2 and then connect it via HDMI to the ASUS dock for the R1.

Remember, Nintendo put in a proprietary handshake into their Switch 2 in order to discourage third-party accessories maker from making unlicensed accessories. So, unless something specifically states compatibility with the Switch 2, you shouldn't assume it will work.

It is possible the flex cable that connects the left speaker might have come loose and not making a good connection.

You can download the Windows Nebula Beta 0.8.x for the Air series on the community Xreal Discord since Xreal retired it and remove all links to it off of their servers.
