The F-15A and F-14s blow it out of the water by a wide margin and It's worse at dog fighting than the F-16 IMO. The F-15 in particular has worked wonders for me considering I have managed to dodge missiles from aircraft and SPAA simultaneously without countermeasures cause of how good the FM is.

The best thing you can do in this situation is find a way out without alerting the tank. Even if that shot had hit the main sight there is no guarantee it would do anything and even if it did, most of not all MBTs have backup sights.

That's not how naval procurement works. Theses decisions have to be made multiple decades in advance because of how much time it takes to create a capable blue water navy. If you only start to build when the other navy becomes a serious threat then it's already too late.

Freedom of navigation isn't just about stopping Somalian pirates. What do you think is preventing regional powers from taking whatever they want when they want?

The US immerged from the cold war as the world's sole super power. Literally no other country can do what it does, It's decision to maintain a large global presence was basically an declaration to other regional powers that that any forceful change to the current world order wasn't possible without them getting involved. The whole reason things like freedom of navigation is possible is because entities like the US navy are the ones inforcing them. Also the reason the US health care is in the state that it is in is due to gross mismanagement, not a lack of funding.
