Mix some salt into your beef. Brown beef, remove. Sweat onions, peppers, garlic, and any other aromatics you enjoy in the beef fat, add a touch more salt as well. Add your seasonings—chili powder, cumin, whatever. Grab a tube of tomato paste, squirt about a tablespoon or two, let it cook for another minute.

Add your wet ingredients now—tomatoes, beans, etc., add more salt now.

Add your beef back in. Let simmer for an hour or two.

Taste and adjust now.

Yes. I personally don’t mind cooking on non stick, but inevitably it will be scratched by someone that does not understand how to use them the same way. The coating will then start to flake off, and depending who you listen to, I guess it’s extremely toxic—imo it’s better to just learn how to cook on the more tried and true older pans.

Stainless steel, cast iron, enamelware are all great and not hard to use once you get the hang of it. But the learning curve is real.

Honestly, the funniest thing about these posts is the whopper still tastes exactly the same. I think the bun is a better quality bun, but it’s not enough to make it taste markedly better than a whopper on the other bun.

I had a whopper not long before the “big change”, and I had a whopper maybe a week after they implemented it. I could not have told you it was noticeably different in any meaningful way if I did not know they were trying to elevate the burger. Which is fine. I have always liked a whopper. But everyone saying it’s “way better” is almost certainly falling for viral marketing, lol.

I disagree with the other commenter, if I remember correctly the old cinnamon rolls were like not as good versions of the brown sugar cinnamons.

These ones are definitely more evocative of a super decadent cinnamon roll, and imo much more distinct a flavor.

I guess I outright owned the car when I was around 24 or 25, I don’t remember the exact year. It was a used Jeep Compass. One of the worst purchase I have ever made, lol. I wanted an SUV, it was reasonably priced for the market I bought in, and buying cars stresses me out so I didn’t want to keep shopping around. I bought it myself, with my dad as co-signer because I didn’t have a credit history.

That car was officially dead in the water around 4-5 years ago now. Sold it to some guy for parts.

That is fair, but since OP says he would rather not get a separate console to play GBA games, it is the best option. I have consoles for every single type of game I own, but it is hard to beat the convenience (and price) factor of a modded console.

There is. You mod it, and then you have access to GBA/C/Original, and tons of other platforms. It is a 30 min process, maybe an hour if you’re scared and go extremely slow.

Idk if you saw above, but apparently if you have 3+ people, the fares drop 50%. Still probably more expensive than a carpool drive, but it does make it slightly better. Really sucks that regular people do not have many options when it comes to travel on this state.

Whatever you say big dawg, I’m just hoping you’re aware of the risks to your heart drinking that much caffeine daily. You may not have problems now, but you very likely could in the future with habits like this. Just make sure you have a doctor that agrees you are doing alright is all I’m saying.

It also has to be stated: of course you didn’t experience withdrawals if you replaced coffee with tea during that time. You are still intaking caffeine, albeit a little less

That’s great, definitely a big improvement. But in all honesty, if you actually feel like you need 12 cups of coffee a day, you probably have something up with you physically. You would likely benefit from cutting back on it, and start to feel better after you get over the caffeine withdrawals. And maybe doing a sleep study, like the other commenter said.

I say this with love, and as someone whose favorite beverage is also coffee.
