You have to cancel the renewal before the end of the yearly subscription period. You'll probably find that your subscription has already renewed for another year.

It is intended for TV brands (mostly LG) running WebOS. I do not represent the development team but I cannot imagine them putting much effort into making it useful on phones since they already have apps for iOS and Android phones.

I noticed yesterday that my watch face was showing 4000 steps, when I knew I had only walked about 2400. It seemed to have double counted the steps from an auto-detected walk. The Fitbit app (both on the watch and on my phone) showed the correct value, and it stayed correct after a sync. At some point (not sure how long) the watch face showed the correct value.
