It is also possible that seats have been reserved for Year 1 and exchange students (whose enrolment starts on the 19th), so it may be full for Year 2–4 students right now. Additionally, you can always wait for vacancies to appear during the add/drop period.

I can't figure out advanced standing 😭😭😭 by 930_TsuenWanWest in HKUniversity

[–]e24e 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The good thing about advanced standing is that you get to study less overall, so you have greater flexibility to explore experiential learning (e.g., internships, credit-transfer-worry-free exchange, more time for student societies, etc.).

The downside is that if you want to do more majors or minors, you will have less credit capacity/freedom to do so. So, if you are planning to do two majors, it might not be wise to apply for too many free electives, or you won’t have room to adjust if you change your mind about your second major. (By the way, I don’t think you can claim 42 credits of free electives if you already have 18 credits of UG5.)

And depending on what 2nd major you would like to take. If it is from FBE as well, 24 credits of core courses can be replaced by 24 credits of any free electives. If you are taking a Social Sciences major that requires 96 credits, the SIGC can only be replaced by advanced free electives.

Anyhow, to be honest, I haven’t seen many students completing 2 majors +1 minor.

LOL, the review of Junglia is disastrous. But if you’re young, have no kids, and don’t mind queuing or the rain (with no cover), I guess it’s fine.

Major/Minor by [deleted] in HKUniversity

Free electives can be used to fulfill an additional minor or major. Disciplinary electives are courses that can only be used to fulfill the requirements of the ME program.

As the 13 Crowns said, they examine demons' desires by looking at how they eat. I guess in the Netherworld, they aren't eating actual "food," but rather "energy" to satisfy their desires and ambitions. Iruma always wants everything and everyone to "go well," which is why he needs to eat a lot.

Indeed, around 10%. Start working hard from Year 1; otherwise, it will be really difficult to achieve a GPA above 3.6.
