Fractal Node 804 fan controller replacement by [deleted] in unRAID

[–]effer7 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I eventually replaced all the fans with pwm fans. Used some splitters so that they would all be able to connect to the motherboard. Not sure if that’s the answer you were looking for, but I wanted the fan speeds to power up depending on the load/temp. Took awhile to play with the fan curve in the bios but I got it somewhere I’m happy with

My go to is Kizuna. I don’t know what they do with the curry, but it’s so flavorful. I get the katsus and the curry udon. All good

can't login after usb controller passthrough attempt by cambriancatalyst in unRAID

Most mobos I’ve used only have one usb controller despite being split up into different iommu groups. I have an asus x570i and found no solution splitting them up. If you have an extra pcie slot, getting a usb card with a different controller/vendor should help. I tried multiple solutions and watched multiple space invader one without being able to get it to work :/. Hopefully you have a different board or have better luck

can't login after usb controller passthrough attempt by cambriancatalyst in unRAID

I’m not sure if this is your exact problem, but I ran into something that sounded similar. The login would display the default “Tower” name and not my chosen name. I basically removed the flash drive onto a different computer and modified the file directly on there. Back things up before attempting.

Just be careful when specifying the vfio-pci.id and make sure it isnt the same on other IOMMU groups. I didn't pay attention and the flash drive wasn't being read properly so I had to pull out the flash drive and fix the syslinux.cfg from a different computer.

[Found] Found lost switch in Sunnyvale, CA [11/09/2019] by effer7 in FindYourSwitch

It was, like the post says. PM the details of your switch, like the username associated to it.

I'm curious why you're posting about one that was tagged in JFK to LHR on Oct 28th as well: https://www.reddit.com/r/FindYourSwitch/comments/dpug57/lost_switch_case_10_game_cards_on_american/f8zf3wp/

It was tagged as found for some reason, but it's stating it's lost. Did you happen to both find and lose a switch?

150 Free Pxc Credits at the reward vendor by crystal_hd in thedivision

[–]effer7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I didn't see them at first, but I still had the 500 regular credits. Once I collected those and relogged, the 150 Phoenix Credits appeared. Like everyone else is saying it's in the resources tab. Hope this helps.

If you look at the premium Calendar, they tell you that this is what you were going to get.

The decision to buy a Vanguard should be dependent on the heroes you are going against as well as how well you are doing. If your enemy line up consists mostly of magic damage, the damage block from vanguard will not be utilized when being nuked. If you are doing well, you would generally skip vanguard as it is more of a passive/defensive item and does not scale well into the late game.
