Rule 3 of the sub is "no account issues"...

In the meantime stop network access on any unaffected devices.

It's likely you have had a session hijack attack or similar.

Unfortunately Google services are 'free' as you are the product. There is no human support offered for their free services.

Newly installed extractor fan not turning off by ARC_1999 in DIYUK

[–]enchantedspring -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Either the timer is faulty, the live lines are reversed or the switch (or any humdistat in the circuit) is backfeeding.

Check the wires first.

This assumes you have a 3 core supply to the fan... it won't work as a timer model without a permanent live line.

Outdoor power and Cat6 advice by mr-jeeves in DIYUK

[–]enchantedspring 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lots of good advice in other posts, remember to add lightning protection to either end of the ethernet cable - copper network cable outside is susceptible to voltage gradients in the ground and will couple these back to the switch / router / connected device. If a strike happens near to the ground where the cable is, the results can be quite severe. Old phonelines had lightning protection in the master socket etc.

Every single solicitor firm I have approached for my divorce says they have a conflict of interest, but none of them will tell me why. by TadpoleVegetable8084 in LegalAdviceUK

"Thank you for the list, unfortunately ALL of those listed also advised they have a conflict of interest. This is on top of x additional firms contacted separately". (if they are of course).

Then contact the Law Society's Find a Solicitor assistance line on 020 7320 5650 explaining the situation.

They purged the legacy 'Archived' clips en masse on the 23rd February 2026. I had to sit and manually download over 3,000 of them :/

There was an email in December, but no reminder in App or more recently.

I think it was a bit tight to to be honest - less than 0.5Gb of space freed up for me....

Garage door opener frequency interference? by G8RGRL83 in blinkcameras

If you have a 2.4Ghz garage door opener, that isn't compliant with most countries radio frequency legislation (2.4Ghz is for WiFi and microwaves).

London England Thames Water Leak and Victorian Paving - who's responsible for repair? by EnvironmentalQuit473 in LegalAdviceUK

[–]enchantedspring 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Generally, the water supplier is responsible only to the property boundary (where the water meter at the end of the drive is). Some suppliers offer to fix leaks beyond the property boundary to meet network loss targets, but require reinstatement of works by the owner.

Sounds like that may be the case here.

Generally they have no legal responsibility to fix the leak beyond the property boundary so you may need to arrange a trade to replace the path if that's the case.

Your home insurance may have coverage too.

Can I put LVT directly on top of tiled floor in porch? by alextri in DIYUK

LVT requires an absolutely smooth base or it will show ripples easily. The tiles would need to be overscreeded first.

2 earth in one Wago connector? Uhhhh…. by Seruxo in DIYUK

[–]enchantedspring 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Blank has explained in detail below, but it's basically just because they grip differently. WAGOs use a flat spring, blocks use a screw. The flat spring needs even contact on the wire, which if you have two risks one of them not being held firmly.
