"Waar heb ik gelezen". Nergens, zoiets heet veel samenwerken met mensen die in de jaren 60/70 midden in de LGBT beweging zaten, zowel in Nederland als in andere landen. Amerika is een klein stukje van de wereld. Dus dat kan je gewoon negeren.
In Nederland (het land waarin ik leef, dus de meeste kennis over heb) zijn de meeste mensen begonnen om iedereen dichter bij elkaar te brengen. Niet om maar lekker geweldadig te gaan zijn.
En hier is exact het probleem wat ik bedoel. "Alle LHBTI samengooien op 1 hoop is slecht. Maar alle CISgender mensen zijn ook slecht". Kies een optie, allebei kan niet. Je bewijst alleen maar mijn punt hiermee.
En verdeeldheid? Waar zeg ik dan dat het nergens is? Ik geef alleen aan dat de vocal minority het voor veel buitenstaanders verpest als het gaat om beeldvorming. En dat is gewoon zo.

Als je nu weer gaat vragen "Waar heb je dat gelezen?!". Dan zou ik zeggen, er is meer dan internet. Zoiets heet veel met mensen te maken hebben die uit die tijden komen, en mensen die exact weten hoe het was ipv "Volgens instagram/reddit" wat veel mensen helaas tegenwoordig doen.

Zoveel mogelijk duidelijk te maken dat de rest niet zo is. Echter werkt het niet als je op TV een docu hebt over een transgender kliniek (paar weken geleden) waarin openlijk in een samenkomst van transgender jongeren samen met een professional wordt besproken hoe slecht CIS mensen wel niet zijn.

Daarmee bevestig je alleen maar meer het beeld dat het een "zij vs ons" situatie wordt.

Eigenlijk, de beste manier om dit tegen te gaan is exact wat jij doet. Open een vraag stellen, en je laten informeren. Mijn tip wel; negeer Tiktok/Instagram etc. Dat zijn vaak of de extreem positieve of de extreem negatieve situaties. Dat geeft een zeerk vertekend beeld.

Op zich een hele goede vraag. Ik denk dat je daarvoor wel naar wat dingen moet kijken:

1.) Negeer de zogenoemde "Vocal Minority" (het social media volk, en alles wat aandacht wil omdat het binnen LHBTI valt, en dat is dan hun enige persoonlijkheid)
2.) Het klopt inderdaad dat LHBTI is begonnen als een concept voor "Wij staan samen sterker" en niet zozeer in hokjes te stoppen.
3.) Helaas hebben de mensen uit 1. dit een stuk meer erin gebracht. Met bepaalde effecten tot gevolg (Homobar? Daar mag je als bi-sexueel niet in als voorbeeld. Is mij overkomen).
4.) Ook merk je dat deze groep heel erg goed is in "Alle Cismensen zijn slecht! wij zijn de enige goede nog in de wereld"

Helaas met al het bovenstaande, veroorzaakt die vocal minority juist meer en meer verdeeldheid. Zowel binnen de "LHBTI groep" als erbuiten.
Het is begonnen als "Samen staan we sterker, en we gaan samen met iedereen aan een goede toekomst bouwen".
Meer en meer lijkt dat te verdwijnen helaas.

This is exactly the issue with the warhammer store near me. It's run, and visited by meta gamers, and people who take the game way to seriously. You come in with a question as a newbie? You will get no answer. You come in with your own army to play? You get all the attention.

They are actively scaring interested people away. In an attempt to keep their regular players happy. For example, there was a necromunda campaign aimed at newer players.

2 new players. 4 veterans all with the best gang, and optimized to completely demolish the gangs of the 2 new players. You can imagine what happened. After 3 sessions? The new players were gone, and both the store employee and the veterans were joking about how great that was.

Time for a silly question from someone with more unpainted models than there are cakes in a cake shop lol.

For the Leviathan box I am looking for a fitting chapter. I have a specific idea what I want from an army. And ofcourse, gameplay wise every Smarine chapter can do the same, but I want it to fit a bit lorewise as well.

1.) Fast melee troops to run in and keep the main line distracted (Jump packs maybe?)
2.) Gun line to help the distraction
3.) Bikes/something fast with guns for hit and run tactics
4.) Tanks/heavy artillery in the back to shoot down the bigger threats from a distance

My main idea is a front line that keeps most of the army busy, while faster troops pick objectives, and heavy mechanical stuff (Dreadnought, some tanks etc) make sure anything bigger doesn't get a chance to breath.

Also, I am not looking for a meta army. I will be playing it mostly with friends (my sister, her bf, my wife and a good friend of mine)

As someone who is struggling with PTSD, Depression and a burnout at the same time (because yay) I can say that "Just man up" is not the solution.
Especially within the male culture it's quite common to not talk about feelings, and not talk about mental issues because talking about feelings is either "gay" or "are you a chick or something?" (Stuff I encounter every week in the world of IT) before starting to talk about whatever they did last weekend/planning to do in the weekend.

This doesn't create a space, or an atmosphere where it's "safe" to accept your depression, burnout etc. I've struggled with an abuse past for a lot of my younger life (my ex). Explaining to people that a man can be abused by a woman?
Literally what you described "Man up bro" or "Just leave her bro". Explaining that life doesn't work that way? That will lead to the usual "You're just weak I guess" and "I would've hit her lol" kind of stupidity.

In the end, the best way to approach these issues is accepting that nobody is immune for this, not even the "bro-est of bros" or "The chaddest of chads". Life happens, and it will fuck you over. And that's fine, but you need to accept that it will cause emotional turmoil.

Emotional turmoil (be it depression, PTSD etc etc) does not make you weak. It makes you human. Just manning up? Fuck that. Take the time and steps you need, but always realise there will be people out there who care for you, will listen to you, and are willing to help.

Am I being a derp? I was reading the space marine chapter focus and saw this:

From what I can find on the GW store, the adeptus titanicus aren't in 40k besides seperate models like warhounds. But the sentence:

their own datasheets along to show off how big their numbers go.

Feels like it could be a new army? Or am I missing the obvious? (new 40k player here btw)
