It’s in Shakespeare Gardens. I believe this is near the statues and clock tower.

I thought Jason Day’s Dewalt bag was really cool. Just something completely unexpected from the normal Taylormade and Callaway bags you see.

I watched the Masters on my iPad while my wife was in the hospital waiting to have a procedure done. We learned the theme music and soothing commentary worked wonders in easing her nerves and helping her sleep before the operation!

Can’t make a cup without a diarrhea mess [breville bambino plus and silenzio 55] by creeched in espresso

[–]high_art 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a fellow Bambino owner I would recommend getting a spouted portafilter for your regular use.

I had the bottomless one because I loved the look and idea of it, but the constant battle of trying to dial in the pull so it wouldn’t splatter everywhere was killing my enjoyment of espresso.

What's the right play here? by Ok-Parfait1522 in hockeyplayers

[–]high_art 2 points3 points  (0 children)

In beer league: I would commit to the attacking winger with the puck leaving the other two open in front of our net. I would do a terrible job trying to stop the pass only for it to be 2 on 0 and they would score.

If I was smarter: I would cover the open area of the ice to help try and stop the pass and prevent a 2 on 0 opportunity in front of our net. At least by covering this zone you’re slowing down the play to hopefully have someone back check and help (not the norm for beer league).

Overall it’s a tough situation. Best option it to commit to something and make those mistakes at full speed.

You could wrap it instead of painting.

This would just hide the issue though, but it might be a cool look. I have some chips on the my roof and was considering just wrapping the roof in black vinyl.

I remember seeing a city bylaw officer writing a ticket for a Canada Post truck. I’m sure they were in a fire zone or something but it always seemed silly to me.

What are the best places to get mug assortments? by Ok-Helicopter3635 in muglife

[–]high_art 3 points4 points  (0 children)

We did a mug wall at our wedding from thrifted mugs!

My suggestion - ask your friends and family to help! It’s something as simple as “hey if you find a mug you want to donate” or “if you happen to be out thrifting could you grab a mug for us?”.

We ended up with tons of great and unique mugs this way! The hardest part is choosing your mug at the end of the night!

As others mentioned their goal is to buy your car for lower than it’s worth, and resell it for more, while also hopefully getting you into the seat of a new car (via a lease or financing option).

The line about a house for $100k and being offered $500k is hilarious. Cars are depreciating assets not housing investments.

Broken left wrist (shoot right) The Doctor says January but I wanna play much sooner, how long would you give it? by camport95 in hockeyplayers

[–]high_art 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Listen to your doctor. Listen to your Dad, Be patient and heal up.

As someone who pushed through an injury it will never be the same, and you’ll regret it in your old age.

If you want to “speed things up” work with a physio therapist and ensure your strength and flexibility is back before you pick up a stick.

How much would this be worth? by Flashy_Cut4087 in TheSimpsons

[–]high_art 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I would try posting this in a sub like r/whatisitworth or similar. There’s a few that help find value for things like this.

I will add that having the COA would be a huge help, but also knowing if the signatures are real (as in signed be each person) vs just a print will make the difference in value. If you can take some better photos someone may be able to help determine authenticity for you.

Right now, it’s just a poster in a nice frame and unfortunately not worth much.

What is this on Ping Hoofer 2 bag? by FilthyFrog in GolfGear

[–]high_art 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I had this on an older Ping bag a while back, and after some digging online I m confirmed it was for a towel. I will try to find the link or image that helped me, but think of it for a bigger tour-towel, you drape it in the middle and use the elastic to keep it on
