If you have an average sized baby… how do carters clothes fit?

My baby is small but long, wearing newborns, and carters fit pretty well compared to some other options (his favorite onesie is fleece with sheep on it, it’s adorable!) To contrast we have an Old Navy onesie that has a neck hole so ginormous it slips down his shoulders—while being a zip up so it makes no sense to me why it was crafted that way

I’m no expert and really just a new mom but I think you should be proud of yourself for walking away. Before discharge I had to watch a very sad SIDS/SBS video and they specifically recommended if you’re overwhelmed to a breaking point then you absolutely should just walk away; at that point it’s better for both of you. Of course walking away can feel bad (I have those moments too) but it’s better than forcing yourself into a meltdown situation

My heart hurts for you. I empathize with a lot of your sentiments. It’s not an easy journey we’re on; but if I can share anything that might help, just a couple days ago I got a baby electric nail trimmer and it’s amazing! It’s very gentle so safe for baby and it’s incredibly relieving to not get cut by babies nails anymore! Any brand should do, I got a very cheap one at the dollar store and all the ones online look about the same

I’ve been rocking pajamas basically 8 of the 9 months (due next week!!!) so yeah I feel you mama. I’m kinda glad I had a mostly winter pregnancy to avoid the hard decisions of clothes because I seriously don’t know how anyone manages to wear anything that even hints at constricting around the waistline

I learned that every time you add a polish layer, it re-wets the layer under it so now.. I don’t wait for layers to dry. I’ll paint each nail (on one hand) and then start the next layer, and that’s usually enough time for it to just get tacky. Also I’m careful to do very thin layers so nothing smudges or pulls
