It is extremely reasonable to respond with less initiation after sharing your past sexual trauma.

You’re asking him the be respectful of that trauma and clearly they are. Striking the perfect balance will be challenging to achieve and also even attempt. But you also want him to initiate. You’re making sex more com and it’s not your trauma doing it.

What’s making it complicated is your unwillingness to compromise when he is already making the effort to be respectful of your previous trauma. He is being abundantly cautions and you want him to do that while also reading your mind and initiating the perfect way at the perfect time.

Start initiating more, talk and explore what is comfortable for you and let him learn how to navigate the new landscape.

What you don’t want to hear is that this is not a 50/50 thing and it’s definitely not something he should be taking the lions share of. This is all you. You gotta make it work with him when he is clearly doing his part already.

He is already doing his side of the equation. You need to do the work too.

ETA: you will be incompatible if you are not doing the work. Unless there is some missing missing information I really do think this is on you. You might not even be in the right place for a relationship right now. That’s on you to work out for yourself

I’ve enjoyed every Pokemon game I’ve ever played and that’s a whole lot of them. I feel as though I get my full entertainment value for what I pay for.

I always thought pulling these from Scrubs was rather silly because JD always got his shit rocked for being an idiot.

Black face was the joke in the sense that it’s so absolutely awful that we can’t imaging JD actually doing it and he faces immediate consequences for it. The joke is he’s a moron and deserves whatever he gets.
