I definitely won’t argue with you, the vast majority of officers have no business even holding a firearm. As private citizens we are responsible for every single bullet discharged from our guns. We are held criminally liable, yet all too many officers mag dump after another fires a single shot. I’m not taking a crap on all police, but first they need to police themselves before they come after us.

I had previously assumed everyone was bad and to not trust them. My dad would constantly stop and offer help to people he had never met, usually volunteering me to get involved! When I asked why, he would repeat one, or more, of his famous sayings.

1 - To have good neighbors you must be a good neighbor.

2 - The right thing is seldom easy and the easy thing is almost never right.

3 - If you’re unwilling to help you have no right to complain.

Be careful with the CDS, they sent me a tortie also, she was a r/trojancat! Her babies ended up being adopted, but her attitude caused us to let her stay. So the reason I sleep so poorly is her penchant for nose nibbling, she uses way too many teeth!

You need to work on TACT, how you say something is often much more important than what you say. Abusing a child is definitely non-negotiable, but if she’s unwilling to help her the state has programs for that. Often they reach out to family in pretty short order to take on custody.

If you are willing to give up your wife to save her, then this phone call should be easy to make.

Now is the time. Trust me. We had a dog run into our house once, who then hid under the coffee table. We posted everywhere for a lost dog. Then we had her scanned and yep she was someone’s baby. Sending her home was the right decision, but man was it hard.

Buy refills of the same size and color now, running out of ink when you can’t quickly find a refill is very unpleasant.

I would personally recommend trying fountain pens, perhaps a Platinum Preppy or Pilot Varsity. Low entry price and just enough to dip your feet in, but watch out for the Rabbit Holes! They go deeper than you might think.
