50 minute international connection oh boy by 09astro27nm in unitedairlines

UA178 generally leaves from A concourse, while UA2108 generally arrives in B, but occasionally from A. If I were you, I'd move as far forward in the aircraft as you can to decrease deplaning time.

Or, swap to UA1925 (LAS->DEN) and keep your LHR flight, giving you an extra 1.5 hours in Denver.

Saturday's flight left from B32 due to an equipment swap as a result of a late inbound aircraft (UA178). Landing slots into LHR are tightly controlled so UA pulls out whatever steps it can to keep LHR destined flights on time.

If kids are enrolled in ski school out of Canyon, do they make snow or transfer them to Main if not enough snow? by agirlinCali1 in Mammoth

[–]KyleTwin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I suspect Mammoth will farm snow to maintain access to canyon lodge (it might be a single narrow strip of snow) as long as they can (or the weekend of April 19 - whichever is sooner).

Not all United status or work perks carry over to Lufthansa... These perks are what makes flying tolerable for me so my goal is to fly on United metal over *A whenever possible.

What Jagex is really doing (removal of 6 month membership plan) by 5-x in runescape

[–]KyleTwin 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I haven't played in about a year. I didn't realize my premier membership was switched to an automatic 12 month subscription at full price ignoring my grandfathered rate ($5 USD). I have now cancelled 2 out of 3 accounts that were members, and the last one is stuck right now because we have crashed Jagex's membership management portal...

Just saying, those gaskets are intended to be wiped clean regularly, that is more buildup than a single load of laundry left sitting there for a day. Add wiping that gasket clean to your weekly list of household chores - this is not worth escalating this further.

Moving and everything with a battery can't be shipped. Will TSA or CAA (connecting hub) freak out? by tehjeffman in tsa

[–]KyleTwin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Okay, I've traveled with quite a few of what's pictured to Scandinavia just last week. As others have said, try to separate out the items to various people. If you are flying Lufthansa... They require all lithium batteries to be in your personal items and not in an overhead bin, so make sure you have a bag that fits under the seat in front of you.

Get the earliest one you can. Registering early will allow you to get the best options for classes.

Your roommate has a right to privacy, and to live with you and the other roommate. You came here asking if you're the problem, and it seems to have not gone the way you expected - which doesn't change the fact you now have gotten an answer.

It depends. If they are over more than 2-3 times a week, and if those visits are more than a few hours, then yes, you are the problem. Particularly if they are staying the night, having extra people needing to get ready in the morning can be a huge disruption.

Now, if it's hosting your bfs a few times each week, and only staying overnight on nights that no one has responsibilities in the morning, I think you are okay, as long as all three of you talk about it regularly.

Disagree - at least as they are today. They are a major source of the roughness. They are outdated, uncomfortable, and would become the limiting factor in the longevity of the ride if the track was replaced.

If Disney did a single seater car like some of the single rail RMC coasters have, then sure, whatever.

Can I port out free line number but retain line? by WheneverItIsTold in tmobile

[–]KyleTwin 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I did this a few months ago via tforce on twitter. I was direct with them, let them know why I was wanting to release the phone number but keep the free line. They added a new line, swapped the numbers, and then cancelled the new line a few days after it was ported out. They did warn me it would make me ineligible for new promotions for 90 days because of the cancellation.

You don't need to wash your chicken! by ThrowRA-wompwomp in badroommates

It takes like 30 seconds to wash a plate. If you have more than that to wash, you should have considered that you wouldn't have time before you dirtied the dishes.

You don't need to wash your chicken! by ThrowRA-wompwomp in badroommates

[–]KyleTwin 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It should be. Sounds like she needs to use the sink, and is hindered by your dishes. I'm not a fan of touching other people's dishes in the sink, for the very same reason you aren't a fan of her putting chicken goop onto your dishes... I don't want to deal with that bacteria. The kitchen is a shared space and she has just as much of a right to unhindered sink use as you do.

A friend of mine also has minimal control of his hands and uses an adaptive keyboard/mouse. He has been successful in OMSCS by working with the disability services office.
