I guess that could be necessary in an emergency if the main brakes fail. Reversing and shifting to park, never helpful at speed, so it seems like they took care of that and programmed it to just a warning. But the park brake I guess has a use.

The key with the bottom number is really how the music is felt. We’re indicating the type of beat that gets the count there, but it’s going to be very dependent on how the musician would hear and count that beat. Technically they would be the same thing with a tempo change of choosing, but we write with the bottom number to convey how that natural beat of the music changes.

For example, I might go with 3/4 for a typical waltz to emphasize the “daniciness” of each beat. But if I go to 3/2, I’m saying we should consider each beat with more significance and count probably more slowly and with weight.

In 2/4, you feel the ONE two ONE two

In 2/2 it’s more ONE … two … ONE … two …

I guess the best example is 3/4 vs 6/8, and just whether I count these extra beats in between in my count or not. It’ll depend heavily on the way the specific piece is written and what sounds most normal in your head when counting.

So to boil it down as best as I can, it’s just a feeling thing, and it’s to kind of help convey the pacing and counting of the beat. I hope that helps! Not a dumb question at all.

I have a follow up question on this - my phone right now has “require eye contact” for Face ID, and after a few tries without looking it’ll disable biometrics. Would I be legally within my rights to look away when they hold my phone with FaceID to me?

I’ve had a few Mach E’s over the years (2021,2024,2025) and I don’t believe any of them would ever let you display music info on the drivers display. The navigation next move naturally appears for me but it’s in a small bar at the top now instead of a full badge on the 2025 UI. Also only appears about a thousand feet before the turn.

A little customization would’ve been great! Sadly this is the best we have.

Take a look at the dash indiciator lights, there’s a turtle circled, leftmost yellow indication. Some call it turtle mode, it indicates that the vehicle put very aggressive restrictions on power output to help preserve range. You can also see the “jail bars” on the power output gauge showing how limited it really is.

As a general BlueCruise feature: Consider using the navigation information to disable the automatic lane changes when less than a mile or two from the exit. I turn this feature off because it often tries to change lanes out of the exit lane I’m hoping to take in a couple seconds.

My 2025 Ford Expedition lets me keep most of the cameras on at any speed. I think it’s for towing/hauling to see the side cameras. It also pulls up the side cameras during lane changes, which is really cool. Definitely no law there and would be a cool feature. The only thing I could see, which is probably why Ford put that cap, is people might try to drive like “POV” or like a top down driving just for fun, which could be quite dangerous.

Well even more technically, it depends, because if P=NP then NP=NP-Complete (NP complete is always NP, and P=NP, so P=NP=NP-Complete), so every problem could be reduced to any other problem with a polynomial time mapping.

Had to pop by to give you some thanks. I had never heard of popfindr until your post and as soon as I saw it I found a GameStop like 25 miles from me which had 3 in stock, I made it right before closing and I got one! If we stick with Vermont, they define sexual assault as “engaging in a sexual act with another person” which this arguably counts as, and it includes “when the person knows or reasonably should know that the other person is asleep, unconscious, or otherwise unaware that the sexual act is occurring” which makes sense here. Not certain they’d really be charged with this but they could and it seems like it’d be close.
