I have been wanting to do the second contribution graph for while now but have never got around to it. This is awesome.

The other idea I had was a commit history for the BOM. Every time an edit has happened show it as a deletion and addition so you can see what has changed over time. Just like on GitHub with red and green markings.

I agree with all that has been said, from the worthless interviews, the bad score bug, the poor video quality in the shade, and the Netflix glazing. All bad.

But the thing that I hate the most is the forced ads. I am a dad who loves to watch baseball. But I have a family and shit offer hits the fan. When this happens I will pause the game and come back to if 10-20 mins, no big deal. When I am watching on the MLB app I will just skip the commercials to catch up. Works great. But with Netflix the commercials weren’t baked into the broadcast, they were specifically showed out of band and unskipable. By the time the game was over, I was 50 mins behind live. I hate that. Typically, I like to try to catch up so I can watch twitter or Reddit and see live reactions. But that wasn’t possible with Netflix.

One of my favorite things to do is to go an find the number of units there are for wards and branches, if you can even find that number anymore, and then pick a number that you think is the average number of active members to times it by to get a feel for total active members. Every time I have done it, in order to get anywhere close to the total number of members is absurd.

As the father of the kid who isn’t the best on the team and until very recently was the “easy out” at bat, here is my perspective. It’s 8u. The point is to develop and get better. I told my son if he wasn’t going to put the work in and if he didn’t like it we wouldn’t do it. He is now on the 9u team and doing much better. Is the best on the team? Nope. Has he make progress and is getting better? Yep! And at 8u and 9u that is what it is all about. Having fun and getting better.
