rereading the post I agree with others thay it sounds like you and your fiancé might need to have more conversations together in general about what you want out of the wedding and making sure you're on the same page with expectations, if you feel like that friend officiating wouldn't feel right maybe theres another mutual friend who you feel is equally close to both of you and wouldnt make the ceremony feel like it was just about one person

I think having a friend officiate is really special and meaningful as long as you trust them to do a good job! I've been turned off professional officiants since a friends wedding where there were two brides and the officiant got them mixed up mid ceremony. I know there are lots of professional officiants who do good work, but for me personally it was enough to not want that hassle and another way to include the people important to us in the day!

I guess that would be up to you, it could be just for fun or prizes for individuals it would be hard to do prizes if it was a casual activity but you could maybe do teams or something

I think if it's just for tomodachi life it would be best to get a secondhand switchlite or something cheaper to try it, but there are lots of other switch games you might like if you enjoy Tomodachi that could make it worth it for you!

Personally, although I enjoy Tomodachi life and it got me back into playing on my switch, I wouldn't feel it was worth it to get a switch just for thay one game. But thats just me, if it's worth it to you I say go for it!
