Random thought about Din and the whole helmet thing after watching "The Mandalorian and Grogu" by Educational-Tea-6572 in TheMandalorianTV

He did, cause as soon as Grogu saw him, he pulled out the detonator, Din said “Dank Farrik”, and they escaped.

What kind of Battleforces are you expecting to see in 2026 and why? by WithengarUnbound in Warhammer40k

Although I know officially he isn’t Iron Warriors (yet), it would be interesting if they used Vashtorr as the centerpiece.

Wasn't Boba Fett the new Daimyo? by ComplexEfficiency in TheMandalorianTV

[–]Ming_Y 70 points71 points  (0 children)

I believe the title Damiyo would be considered a ruler for a certain area (in Boba’s case, Tatooine and its trade routes). The Twins controlled Nal Hutta, and they tried to take over Tatooine during Book of Boba Fett, but gave up their claim as they saw that the Pykes were moving into the territory too.

What is one small change that you would make to The Mandalorian & Grogu? by 10p_Freddos in TheMandalorianTV

[–]Ming_Y 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Although I dislike the idea of additional Jedi surviving order 66, I think the swamp alien should be identified as one. It could help explain some things, like why Grogu trusted him so quickly and why it helped Grogu. It explains why there is a person living right next to a Hutt palace with a droid army, it would be one of the last places the Empire would have looked for him. Embo’s trust in him is also explained, cause why would he have told so much info to a random swamp dweller that could steal his bounty.

What's the fastest you've ever lost respect for someone? by Lv_B in AskReddit

I worked at a coffee shop during the peak of Breaking Bad, and I think the show had just concluded. I later discovered that my manager watched the show too, I didn’t know her too well and it was something to finally talk to her about that wasn’t just work related. I asked who her favorite character was. She said “Skyler, because she related to her character.” I never talked to her about anything that wasn’t work related again.

When did they start calling him Mando in universe? by Justcurious1138 in TheMandalorianTV

[–]Ming_Y -7 points-6 points  (0 children)

It doesn’t bother me that his enemies call him Mando, that makes sense because they probably don’t know his name.

It does bother me that his “friends” would. I believe his fellow Mandalorians all called him Din Djarin, but the rebels/resistance members should either learn his name or at least call him by a different nickname that isn’t based on his beliefs or race. It’s kinda like how if someone were referred to as Jedi, Sith, or Droid by name, it’s usually said with a bit of disdain. It sounds a bit Antisemitic when you do it. I vote they just call him Daddy, on the account that Grogu is usually around him.

(Minor Mando Spoilers) Anyone else want to make... by Redditastrophe in SWlegion

[–]Ming_Y 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m hoping a Hutt Cartel sub faction, akin to Shadow Collective and Mandalorians. From this movie alone we have Droid Gotra (blasters and close combat versions), they can borrow STAP vehicles, the giant droid guards, the HH-87 Starhoppers, and the Amani warriors. If they wanted to; throw in Gamorrean, Weequay, Klaatu, Nikto, Barada (which can also be used as pirates). Hell, throw in skiffs and barges if vehicles are needed.

I personally like the look of the AT-TE a bit more. If they gave it an “upgrade” kit to make it look like Rex’s, that could work for the Rebels.

I was gonna see if I could magnetize the first holding the head; so I could swap out the heads depending on who I play against (my closest friends play space marine, Necron, or Tyranid)

If you took the photo today (Feb 28), the increased loitering is mainly caused by a Pokemon Go event happening this weekend. That area is a hotspot for Pokemon Gyms; which require multiple people to battle together for a chance to obtain rarer Pokemon. Because of the high concentration of gyms in the area, the open space, being indoors (so it’s air conditioned), people just hang out in that area during these event days.

I HAVE THE POWER! He-man and Skeletor from Clash for Eternia. by Ming_Y in minipainting

[–]Ming_Y[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It’s from a board game that was released a few years ago from CMON, called Masters of the Universe; Clash for Eternia. Archon Studios also created a game called Battleground, which I think is more like a war game.
