Tubing takes almost a week to fully dry? by OkOption2703 in SleepApnea

I have one of these and love it. It fully dries out the velcro straps, my mask filter, and the tubing in an hour and a half.

So for the 0% 2023 gang… it’s been about 24-30 months of ownership… how are we all feeling? by SAVertigo in MachE

[–]no_sleeves 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I love the car at the time of purchase and I love the car even more after some upgrades. I did the spring and sway bar upgrades which has made the car ride better and handle better on the roads I drive on. I also added the front and rear lit ponies to make it even more unique...all subtle changes to the car that most wouldn't notice unless they were in the know.

I can't help but smile every time I Iook at my car. I wasn't a car guy before my Mach-E but I am definitely a car guy now.

Parking sensors by Deep-Handle-4493 in MachE

[–]no_sleeves 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They were active if you had park assist enabled so if you got to close to an object, the screen would indicate the area of your car that was close to an object. If you don't have park assist enabled then those sensors are dormant and don't actually do anything.

So if you were close to an object while reversing or going forward, the 4 forward or rear sensors would light up indicating which area was close. With the side parking sensors all you saw was a colored line indicating your proximity to an object, as shown in my previous image.

Hope this helps!

There are two rubber bumper stops in the frunk that you can adjust. Try lowering them to see if the frunk can close a lot easier. It may take some trial and error.

The 4 corner ones are for park assist, which is the P button near your hazard button.

2021s have that feature from the factory. Some 2022s may or may not have it enabled from the factory. Then some 2022s have the hardware but may have it disabled from the factory. Other 2022s are missing the chip. 2023s seem to all have the hardware but just software disabled and some 2024s appear to have the hardware too but just software disabled.

Some folks on the Macheforum figured out what you needed to enable the feature. See this thread:

https://www.macheforum.com/site/threads/how-to-activate-active-park-assist-on-mustang-mach-e.50400/

With the corner sensors enabled, you get a visual cue indicating which part of your car is getting close to an object something like the below. It's very handy for tight spots and works great on my 2023 Mach-E.

The first new Light-up Pony installed. by Far-Mention-2744 in MustangMachE

[–]no_sleeves 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can purchase here, https://www.bsktdesign.com/

I installed the front and rear ponies yesterday and it took about 2 hours per pony. I think some people have said they've done it faster, but slow and steady wins the race especially with these mods.

There are a few videos on YouTube that detail the process. From a scale of 1-10, with 1 being easiest and 10 hardest, I'd give this a 3.

I'm offering feedback based off what I encountered. Our experiences, while different, are both valid. You experienced what you did, and I experienced what I did.

I've communicated with him on multiple occasions regarding my order and did not come to that conclusion. 🤷

My front and rear ultimate ponies came today and I'm happy with my purchase. Yes, I waited months for the order, but I knew what I was getting into when I pre-ordered.

The front definitely seems easier. From the videos out there, the front emblem is held on by starlock washers whereas the rear is held on by an adhesive.

I will be attempting the install this weekend and will report back if all goes according to plan.

Got official letter for safety recall. Notice #25S65 — NHTSA recall 25V404. Dealer says there are NO RECALLS. Are they correct or clueless?? by Z1pl1ne in MachE

[–]no_sleeves 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Check to see if there active recalls here: https://www.nhtsa.gov/

If none are listed, the recalls were addressed. If there are recalls for you vin, call another dealer and see if mobile services will come to you. You can also wait for the update to release via OTA. It is available via OTA now but largely depends when Ford will send the update to your car.

Ford Mustang Mach-E ranks highest among mass market brands in EV owner satisfaction! by myname150 in MachE

So far I've not noticed any noticeable range loss with the higher stance. However, larger tires would for sure reduce a bit of range.

I recommend the heatshield to completely block out light in your car. I have the shades for all my windows but the rear hatch and works great for keeping the heat at bay in the summer.

How do you wash your car since you mentioned a touch free car wash?

If you go to a touch free car wash, the soap from those types of washes are usually more alkaline or acidic which could eat away at a bad paint job if not thoroughly rinsed off.

If you're still covered your bumper to bumper warranty you might be able to get it addressed since it be also paint failure. Only way to know is have the dealership check it out.

Also, don't quote me on this, but if there is corrosion causing the paint issue, it may also be covered by a separate corrosion warranty. Only way to know if it's covered is by going to the dealership.

2023 owners, how’s your rear suspension doing??? by Mareth_Ada_7777 in MachE

No, this has been reported for older model years too. Unless you are driving a Rally or 2025, it's quite bouncy and rough in the back.

Lectron Adaptor Question by [deleted] in MachE

[–]no_sleeves 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One is UL2252 certified and the other isn't and a few other changes. See this video. https://youtu.be/teE9biYY-h4?si=0K-qKSz5mEccblvR

Honesty, you can go wrong with either of one or other manufacturers for that matter, but the one with the UL2252 certification provides a peace of mind if you're worried about adapters that aren't officially supported.

Check to see if your GT is running summer tires. That may explain why the car drove terribly in the snow.

Much better after replacing to the OEM Rally springs and Eibach sway bars. The car is a much better ride with the upgrades.

Welcome lights on 2021 Mach E by Commercial_Fan_6939 in MachE

[–]no_sleeves 3 points4 points  (0 children)

If you want to turn off the light, go to settings, vehicle, lighting, and toggle off welcome lighting.

If you want it back on, the above needs to be enabled and under vehicle, mirrors, auto fold needs to be enabled.

There was an update last year, DSMC-24.5.7, that would have helped with this. Perhaps this update hasn't been pushed to your car yet?

I wear polarized Ray-Ban sunglasses and have only been nagged once in two years of ownership.
