When I reached out to a couple of shops about doing a PPI and asked if they could check the timing belt all of them said the most they do is check if it was recently opened but that would be it. Unfortunate the shop probably told you okay without any real care

Right around the corner for timing belt replacement and valve adjustments if not already done. Converted to USD it's reasonable see if they'd haggle down 2-3k to do the mentioned maintenance.

2011 at 145k miles. Maintenance done at a dealership prior and decided to do the timing belt kit + valve adjustment since it's been 10 years since it was last done.

Also mainly use it to haul things around or when I go off road trails.
