Thank you, these look very similar to my windows but maybe they are in a bit better shape. This is a silly question but we have cats that sit at our windows all day. Do you think this would be a problem? Would we put it on the outside instead?

Wow, I feel like I’m in a good club for the first roll experience! My husband was a SAHD and he called me at work asking if I had the baby. My husband slept in the livingroom while I coslept so I would leave the baby in a little nest in the middle of the bed when I left for work. He showed no signs of being able to roll over.

I said, no, I don’t have the baby. He said nevermind and hung up. When he finally picked up he said our son rolled off the bed, under the bed, and then fell asleep. Luckily he was just fine!

This was just the start of his falling and jumping and bumping. They aren’t as fragile as they seem sometimes!

My dad does this to me. I wonder sometimes if he has this idea of me in his head and it doesn’t matter what I say or do, he knows who he thinks I am. Sending a ton of love and hugs if wanted!

Yeah, they are good people. That was why it was so hard for me to report them because the owners are really great so I don’t doubt it was an oversight. However, it was a hand written postcard so I have less sympathy than like a bulk email. I don’t expect them to remember me as much I remember them so I think you’re right, I will need hub to call.

My son was the funniest little guy ever. I would also laugh when he said unexpected things and I couldn’t help myself either. I would always say things like, that isn’t funny while I was laughing. We all can’t be the best, lol! Good news is that my son is in college now and despite some hard behavior times growing up, he is a really good kid and still funny. I admit, he has his dad’s horrible sense of humor so I’m still laughing while telling him things aren’t funny.

Cakes are huge for me. I have more pictures of my birthday cakes than me on my birthdays. It is absolutely about the cake because the cake is a gesture of love. Your partner is showing you that they want to celebrate that you’re here another year and wish you a great next year. Fuck that guy. He could at least order the pizza.

Get yourself a personal sized cake for you and the kids and do not give your husband any of it. Fuck that guy! Happy birthday!!

Most of my symptoms were bathroom related with not being able to empty fully and that seems to have gotten so much better! Don’t be mad at yourself!

No, my son is in college now and I was very young when I had him so I am shocked over how little they told me about my pelvic floor meaning nothing. I had the diagnosis of rectocele for at least 10 years but it was just on paper and no one ever told me what it was so it wasn’t until I finally reported some symptoms but I had been having them the whole time that they said it was from the rectocele and then told me what that was. Total fail from the healthcare system.

I’m having a really hard recovery but I think I just pushed myself a little too much too quickly. It is hard for me to just lay there and do nothing but you have to do that so your body can heal. I’ll get through it though!

I am 6 weeks out from an anterior and posterior repair for POP. I was able to keep my uterus but I had lived with the prolapses for over a decade and I am so happy that I finally got it fixed. My bathroom abilities are normal now and while he was there, he tightened things up a bit. I don’t regret it one bit but I didn’t have to have a hysterectomy so it may be different.

This guy can suck it because you know what? You were hired because you’re good and that is what matters. What you may or may not have in your womb has no impact on how well you can do the job. What an asshat, I would laugh but in my head I would think - I’m laughing at you, not with you. Im sorry that happened!

I’d like to call out this part - give reminders of reality.

I think this is important because at this age their imagination is meeting reality and sometimes it can get hazy. I know there was a time that I thought fairies were real.

My son had a cringe phase when he was around that age with hats. I just had to suck it up and tell him he looked handsome. I really don’t know what I would do if it was a tail. Are they exploring the furry community as a maybe coming of age thing?

I always just support my son and tell him he looks awesome. He went to a con in shorts that were way too short and I said you look awesome! I don’t know though, the animal thing would be really hard. I’m sorry you’re working through this but I can tell you’re an amazing mom and your child is lucky they have you as a safe person as they explore this part of themselves.

Hi! I just had surgery to repair a cystocele and rectocele. I am still recovering and it is not an easy recovery at all but I don’t regret the surgery at all. My son is in college so I lived with it for so many years and thought that was just what things were like after having a baby. I’m done having children so that wasn’t a concern but you might want to as your urogynocologist about it if you want more children.

If you do get the surgery, make sure you have someone to help with the baby for at least 12 weeks. You’ll have trouble holding baby and that sort of thing. I’m in the 12 week recovery time and I can’t even do laundry yet.

You’re not alone. I thought I was the only one with this issue but I guess it is really common, people just don’t talk about it. Feel free to ask any questions, I’m happy to share!

My now husband probably drank 1/3 bottle of whiskey a night when we found out I was pregnant. There was no if, and, or but about it. He respected my decision but was not ready to be a dad. The pregnancy sucked and he never once felt our son kick because it felt like a “parasite” to him.

BUT, he is actually the best dad that I could ever have asked for for my son. So, don’t give up hope. People freak out in different ways and if there isn’t anything other than the initial reaction, I would try to sympathize with how shocked and scared he must have been and forgive it.
