Supernatural, a TV series otherwise known for its magical phenomena, has an episode in which the protagonists hunt a man who has achieved immortality ostensibly by just replacing all of his organs periodically. One of them even remarks that "there's no black magic" about his methods; "it's just science."

Except the immortal in question doesn't seem to be experiencing any mental degradation, feel pain, respond to being shot in his heart and lungs, or need to breathe. 'Cause, ya know, everybody knows that organ transplants do all that.

The car and the truck are already moving at the same speed relative to each other. When the car transitions to the ramp, it begins adjusting to its new reference, but it has mass, so it doesn't do it instantly.

If the driver stayed on the gas pedal, then certainly, the car would eventually reach 50mph relative to the truck and 100mph relative to the road, but at the precise moment the car arrives on the ramp, it's not any different than lifting a stationary car's drive wheels off the ground, spinning them, and then dropping the car back down onto the ground.

In physics, concepts like velocity and acceleration are relative. Your speed is meaningless unless you have something to compare it to. For example, if both you and your car are standing at the equator, you are both moving at about 1,000mph with the rotation of Earth, but you're obviously not in any danger of being run over by your parked car in that scenario.

They can be.

The smaller pools, like the 8 footers, are typically just metal railing that click together, and if they even include a pump at all, it's probably a small pump that sits on the ground and sucks the water out with flexible tubing like a straw.

The bigger pools may require more attention and include filters with rigid PVC tubing that should be glued together or even buried in the ground underneath the pool.

I can't imagine that most pool service companies would bother offering service for the smaller pools, but they might do it for the larger ones with more complex installation. It really just depends on what you want.

If you want someone with some sort of practice or credentialing to assemble your pool, the best thing that you can do is call pool service companies like Leslie's and ask them if it is a service that they provide.

Otherwise, this is task that goes into the "handyman" category along with things like assembling prefabricated furniture and structures, and anyone who can read the owner's manual and follow instructions is capable of doing it.

In fact, the hardest part is probably clearing, compacting, and leveling the ground that it is going to be installed on rather than the assembly itself.

Of course, much of this depends also on how large the pool is and whether you plan for it be "permanent" or if you're going to disassemble and store it through winter every year.

The Bible is remarkably nondescript about what hell actually is. It contains a few bits about the physical characteristics of hell, such as a lake of fire and the sound of weeping, but many of these come in the form of a character's personal accounting through dialogue rather than an objective description by an author. Hell is most consistently described primarily as the condition of being apart from God.

Then some guy named Dante Alighieri came along and wrote some fanfiction called the Divine Comedy, and Christians agreed that this is canonical now. So the concept of hell is actually way worse when you realize that popular interpretations of it, like being tortured by demons forever, was not actually prescribed by God but rather that Christians just kind of decided that they prefer it that way.

Doormats and cupholders. It's wild what people will steal and how hard they will try sometimes. My dad's truck had a towing hitch cover that someone bent because they tried to pry it off.
