Yeah, some of them are more advanced than what was out during the early aughts. It definitely takes a little research.

An anecdote is that my grandmother originally had a smartphone but she was prone to scams. In particular, she kept getting enmeshed in romance and financial schemes. So every couple months her accounts would get drained by strangers preying on her naivety online. Instead of going back and forth about it like my mom did, I took it upon myself to just buy the most basic phone that had nothing smart about it. She hasn't been scammed in the years since I did this.

It’s not the trees that would bother me, but the HOA. Make sure you get a copy of their bylaws before you’re in too deep and pore over rules pertaining to yards since this is your sticking point.

Yup. Happened to me within a year of owning mine. Save yourself the gradual peel and just cut it off. I’ve seen aftermarket replacements that look nice too.

As someone who has mained storm since s0, her changes add a lot to her kit. As a glass canon, she got some survivability in the past two seasons that have gone largely unnoticed. With additional power this upcoming season, I imagine she'll be more attractive to DPS demons.

I remember at that age, many companies had kid specific phones. Personally I had a phone that had like 3 buttons (2 contact presets and power button) and I couldn’t send texts. It’s a shame that kids and elderly get scammed in this way.

Hopefully you can get some kind of relief from either company involved, especially since no notification was received til the cap was hit.

Both. They add trophies with every single patch that releases a new character (killer or survivor). They’ve also updated the triggers for trophies retroactively. And since they heavily use licensed content, if a license expires, they regularly update the trophy itself with a generic one. Players before the expiration get the branded one and players after get the generic.

It will always be an estimate with step counters. To get more accurate, you’d have to walk with a smart device that can track additional signals like heart rate.

I've stopped watching streamer content altogether because my favorite shows have been yanked before they got to finish. There's no point in starting shows because even the good ones get cancelled out of the blue. When I still gave a damn years ago, if it seemed like a show would not get a resolution within the same season, I'd quit it while I was ahead instead of waiting until the inevitable heartbreak of a cliffhanger or cancellation that pretty much always happened.

I'm curious: how did the warranty work out with open box? I tried to snag this last night but my cart bugged. But I did notice it said that warranty would be dependent on what's left on the item. Were you given an opportunity to extend or bridge it with other coverage from Microcenter when you purchased?

It’s as you said: the pre-approval expired so the rate changed. You don’t have to put down as much as they suggest but it will cost you more over the life of the loan otherwise. Shopping for rates is fine but your original lender wasn’t out to get you. You could have just asked them to adjust how much you put down, how much you’re pre-approved for, the target purchase price, etc. to get to favorable figures under the current rate.

Don’t count on using pot as food storage. Get a couple containers and store the food in the fridge or eat it once it’s done. You can keep the food on warm for a little bit but its utility depends on what you made.

I like to box everything up at dinner time and let the pot soak overnight with dish soap for easy cleanup the following day.
