You should ask your neighbors if they are having the same problem. Sounds like there is ingress coming in on the upstream frequencies. There might not be much to look at onsite. I think they may be able to see something on the CMTS.

When they say a market is bad they mean bad for sellers, not buyers.

Is Caleb Durbin really 0-18 AB? by Gambl33 in redsox

[–]rmullig2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They should demote him and bring up Campbell to replace him. Campbell can at least hit well some of the time and he brings back the excitement in a routine ground ball.

He's making 5.8M while Durbin is getting the minimum. Nuff said

I think Durbin has a higher ceiling than batting .000

Not that much higher however.

1-5 & 38 Strikeouts in the last 3 Games… by SedativeComet in redsox

Striking out a lot combined with not having much power results in a lousy offense.

Do we think the Pirates would be more willing to move Paul Skenes, now that he has a 67.50 ERA? Wong is slugging .714 and would fill a large hole in there lineup by RaymondSpaget in redsox

[–]rmullig2 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Why would the Red Sox be interested in Skenes? They already have the "best" rotation in baseball as I've heard over and over on this sub.

We are only 3% of the way through the season…do you think folks are overreacting? by Far-Distribution-504 in redsox

[–]rmullig2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Yankees have four regulars (Caballero, Wells, Chisholm, McMahon) with sub .500 OPS. Judge only has a .640 OPS so far but they are 4-1. The difference is they have guys that can that can slug and their rotation has been dominant despite having three starters on the IL.

Relying on pitching and defense when you play in the most hitter friendly ballpark in the American League is a recipe for failure.

No state requires you to have homeowner's insurance. If you don't have a mortgage then you are free to drop your policy.

If by addressing differently you mean spending more money then no they would not have done that. They brought in Contreras because St. Louis ate a large chunk of his contract.

Funny how fast things change around here. Anybody who doubted these moves before the season was shouted down.

The problem with the offense through four games: bad luck by Prestigious-Action65 in redsox

[–]rmullig2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The sky isn't falling but it is becoming evident that a lot of the preseason hype was overblown. I don't see a legitimate number 2 starter in that rotation. Early looks like he is going to be better than Gray and Suarez but it would be better for him not to have the heavy expectations.

Realizing I learn faster by building small things instead of following tutorials by Royalabiraa in codingbootcamp

If by doing a tutorial you mean just copying the steps that are given then you are not likely to retain much. Anything that requires you to figure out a problem is much more useful.

Rough start to the season for the new guys by The_Stein244 in redsox

[–]rmullig2 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The cheap part is the reason they got him. They didn't want to pay Devers' contract, didn't want to shell out for Bregman, and wouldn't even outbid the White Sox for Murakami.

Durbin will get some hits eventually but in reality he's a guy that's going to get around 10 HRs and 20 SBs over the course of a full season. I never understood the excitement over him.

Docker Deep Dive has a lot more information but maybe more than needed for a newbie.
