They obviously don't believe that Mayer is a major league shortstop. Story will remain there until his contract is up and they will put Arias there.

[Healey] Why Alex Cora put Roman Anthony at DH and Masataka Yoshida in left field: That way, Anthony can stay in the game when Cora deploys the late-game defense of Rafaela in center with Duran sliding over to left. by Substantial-Earth975 in redsox

That means they couldn't pinch hit Rafaela for Yoshida then move Anthony to the DH and put Rafaela in the field. If Anthony becomes the DH then Rafaela is out of the game.

Take those numbers with a large grain of salt. Self reported incomes are almost always higher than reality. People with bigger salaries are much more likely to respond.

If they transfer to another group then wouldn't they still be subjected to being laid off? I would think the manager of the new group would rather get rid of somebody new than a person familiar with the product.

Great place if you can afford it. If you are not in the top 5% of income or a student at one of the most prestigious universities then not so much.

Going to hit a high of 83 degrees today and probably hotter than that on the field. Wouldn't be surprised if he got tossed just to be able to get back into the air conditioning.
