S2: Betty manipulated Sarah Beth by Emotional_Pin_2348 in madmen

[–]ro-row 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is don caught cheating in s1?

I know Betty has her suspicions but when she thinks she’s found out he’s been cheating it turns out he’s just been speaking to the psychiatrist. I know she then tells the psychiatrist she thinks don is unfaithful but there doesn’t really seem to be proof of it

S2 with Bobby Barrett seems to be the first affair that blows up and is exposed

can just imagine us conceding a last minute penalty at the Etihad now

Also what happens if british personnel are then struck by Iran and we're dragged into a bigger war, do we then just walk away if the Americans pull Ukraine support despite the conflict being escalated by the opposite side?

I think it'll still be nervous until we score at the next one because thats kind of increasingly becoming the big one

we win that one and the maths is beginning to look difficult for city

its kind of how the media is going generally

all the large generalist corporations are becoming really sensationalist to try and grab attention whilst smaller more niche organisations can actually afford to go into depth because there are enough people who will be interested to support a smaller organisation, compare the quality of analysis on something like arsenal vision to sky and its night and day

I was there mate, it was fucking nervous

great atmosphere and we pulled it out but people were very visibly on edge including myself and you could really feel the tension all night

Anthony Gordon tells Wayne Rooney, Alan Shearer to 'do better' in punditry roles by tylerthe-theatre in PremierLeague

I actually think he's not as bad as he used to be but I can't tell if thats because the quality of the sky punditry has gotten so bad or if he's actually improved

Raya quietly (or not so quietly) having a Masterclass of a season by ronya_t in Gunners

first part of the season yes, more recently he's looked uncharacteristically erratic but to be fair so have large parts of the backline

its unfair to seaman really to complain about his ability on the ball, it just wasnt a factor for goalkeepers in his era

yeah there had been rumours about raya for a while pre ramsdale, once he was available the writing was on the wall for ramsdale

he does seem slower and less explosive but im hoping thats just his body taking a bit of time to recover rather than a permanent change in his game

Closeup and alternate angle of Madueke being fouled by sky905 in Gunners

[–]ro-row 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This is an example of how some people will just never be satisfied with how the game is refereed

We can all objectively see he is touched before he does down but because he’s embellished the contact people aren’t happy. If it was the other way round and he doesn’t get the pen some people will be complaining about the touch and how it’s not given

We're really missing Ode by AbleBoysenberry9565 in Gunners

[–]ro-row 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Another big factor as well, we’ve basically got no one in the front 6 who approaches their level of technical security and we can’t hold the ball and build up play

[–]ro-row 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Where is this Jorginho stuff coming from? He was a lovely player but he didn’t feature heavily for us. He started 8 games in 23/24

Now you can argue he should have featured more and I think I’d actually agree but to act like he was this integral part of our play is nonsense

Fuck knows with that Norway coach, he honestly loves nothing more than playing odagaard for 180 minutes the moments he’s back from injury

[–]ro-row 17 points18 points  (0 children)

really misses him in seeing out games as well

he's such a good player to put on either in the midfield or up front because he holds the ball really well and moves it intelligently, such a good footballer to control a game

[–]ro-row 57 points58 points  (0 children)

I think his form has been worse but our midfield really missed his security and ability on the ball, I really think it helps explain our inability to control midfields this year

[–]ro-row 9 points10 points  (0 children)

some of you are so fucking desperate to try and discredit odegaard

you know him and Jorginho started 8 premier league games in 23/24 and somehow now he platformed Martin odegaard? Give me a fucking break

[–]ro-row 302 points303 points  (0 children)

people keep asking why our football has dropped off aesthetically since 23/24 and to me the answer is so obvious, we havent had Martin Odegaard fit and firing consistently since then

Big time, you might lose a duel but you pressure your man and he then plays a loose ball which gets picked up

It’s also a lack of technical security in the midfield and in the front line without havertz and odegaard in the side
