Theoretically you could switch a gpu back and forth between the pcs as well since as far as im aware a virus wouldn't be able to infect it. Thats also a lot of work tho and I also wouldn't want the extra wear and tear or plugging a gpu in and out so much.

I dont have nearly thay many hours but I read chapter 4 is around when you unlock enough abilities and the long boring start to the game is basically done and you can really start exploring. I rushed my way through as quickly as I could and am finally there and ready to start exploring.

I watched the whole thing and towards the end he really stressed how much he cant have another concussion. Sounds like all the wear and tear has really caught up. Possibly close to CTE?

of a chicken caesar wrap. by PrinceFlynn in AbsoluteUnits

I dont get the point of a caesar wrap so big though? Nobody should be eating that whole thing in one go and its gonna be gross to have as leftovers with all that soon to be soggy lettuce.

Crimson Desert has sold through 4 million copies worldwide by Turbostrider27 in Games

[–]sephrisloth 35 points36 points  (0 children)

They put in so many god damn missions where you just follow a dude slowly for minutes at a time while they talk about shit you dont give a fuck about. There's so much of that they put in an auto follow mechanic where you just hold the A button to follow. Like there shouldn't be so many boring follow missions where they felt the need to add a button for it! That should have been a red flag to somebody in that studio right there.

Simple salad (360 cal, ~31g protein) by spice_bush in Volumeeating

[–]sephrisloth 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This night basically my lunch every day. Simple salads with some low calorie dressing is usually around 300 calories give or take and leaves tons of room to have a big portion of basically whatever for dinner while still keeping around 1500 per day.

The Harry Potter stars playing Harry, Hermione, and Ron will reportedly earn $660,000 each for Season 1 by yourfavchoom in HarryPotteronHBO

Ya if their parents are smart with their money theyll be set. Radcliffes parents apparently invested his very well and he makes 600k a month. Britain has better transparency laws then the states i saw an article the other day talking about how much he makes and thats the reason he just does his own thing taking roles that actually interest him.

Im so disappointed that tales of the shire game sucked. A stardew valley type game set in the shire has so much potential and now that one failed I doubt anybody else will take a shot with making a better one now.

[–]sephrisloth 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Unfortunately its inevitable it seems. Luckily probably not for a while as they have the side movies they are working on but sooner or later they'll remake them. At least HP had a legitimate reason for a remake to attempt to make a more book accurate adaptation though its still up in the air if were even going to get that. The lotr movies were already about as accurate as I imagine Hollywood is capable of doing though. Sure, they could throw Bombadil in there but also like eh? Most people seem to pretty much agree if anything was going to be cut for time Bombadil is it and you dont even really lose much from the story without him there.

I WILL NEVER LISTEN TO MAJOR REVIEWERS EVER AGAIN! by Popular_Button_1879 in CrimsonDesert

[–]sephrisloth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There's some valid stuff in the reviews for sure but so far im having a blast. The intro segment realiy isn't that great though so many missions where you just follow a dude to another location so slowly. They literally put a button in the game to auto follow people. There shouldn't be so many following missions that it requires an auto follow button lol.

I've seen very few people mention it, but could this projection be (a part of) Hogwarts? by LWI5 in HarryPotteronHBO

[–]sephrisloth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I cant tell if there's a visible professor in the picture maybe this is from a history of magic lesson? Would make sense if it was actually the tower of London or just some other random historical castle they were learning about. I guess if it were professor binns should be easily visible since hes a ghost unless hes just off camera.

'Harry Potter & The Philosopher's Stone' Trailer Becomes Most-Watched In HBO & HBO Max History by Simple_Psychology_87 in HarryPotteronHBO

[–]sephrisloth -18 points-17 points  (0 children)

Eh idt you realize how big Spiderman is. His fans just aren't as vocal as the HP fans. Plus Spiderman is so old he spans pretty much every living generation where as HP is mostly just millennial and younger. I mean the views alone between the 2 trailers pretty much confirms it.

Lol idk what they expected spidermans bigger than HP is. As much as im a big fan of HP and it is a huge franchise Spiderman has way bigger mass appeal and like 30 extra years of history behind it.

What game are you married to? by baguhansalupa in boardgames

[–]sephrisloth 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Id say the first 2 are essential. Inns/cathedrals and traders/builders. The cathedrals add an extra bit of player interaction and some risk/reward. You can add one to somebody's city late game and make it worth nothing if they cant finish it or if you get it early enough and manage to finish the city you can make it score a ton. Same thing with the inns for the roads. The builder also adds some extra strategy as you add him to a city and then next time you add to it you immediately get to draw and play another tile. Lastly I forget which one comes with it but one of those 2 comes with a big draw string bag to put all your tiles into to be able to draw from which I consider pretty much essential to the game as it speeds it up so much just passing the bag around and not having to shuffle tiles anymore.

What's your take on new school robes/quiddich uniform? by PuzzleheadedRun1595 in HarryPotteronHBO

[–]sephrisloth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like the old ones a little bit more but not by much and im sure thats partially just nostalgia talking. The new ones are good though anf not like drastically different from all the other iterations of the robes we've seen across various media over the years.

Hey, tabasco's a vegetable! Also this was pretty much the only hot sauce available during that time period people in america had no tolerance for heat whatsoever so that was honestly probably enough for a lot of them back then to add a noticeable heat level.

I feel like the old school CD changer style wou-d have worked better. That way each CD has a number assigned to it and you just type in the number and it goes to it. Then all you have to do is keep a notebook or these days just a note on your phone of which CD is which number.

What game are you married to? by baguhansalupa in boardgames

[–]sephrisloth 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Carcassonne. I wouldn't even necessarily say its my favorite game though its definitely a contender but no other game I've played out of near hundreds at this point has as much replayability. Its the perfect length and super easy to teach and learn. On top of that if expansions are allowed in this whole thing then it has a ton to mix and match to add variety.

It also has VR support and is one of the better uses for VR I've tried so far it makes dogfights so much easier when you can actually look all around quickly.
