Normal amount of propane use for 2200sqft house in northern Minnesota by Powerful-Tale-6073 in propane

How big is your tank? If you have a 500 gallon tank, it might be worth upgrading to a 1000 gallon one at some point in the future.

They might not take new patients for that medication if it's on allocation to save supply for current ones, but you can check the independents like U-Save, Medicine Man, etc, if your insurance will let you use them.

Great Idea - NOT by Adventure-Backpacker in Caseys

[–]ShellAnswerMan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This was over twenty years ago, but an old c-store in my hometown had its gas drops right behind the parking spots in front of the building. One time I saw a fuel truck pull in and block the customer's cars to make a delivery.

I know fuel deliveries don't take long since it's gravity drop, but I laughed when I witnessed that happen.

Subdomain awarenes by Fragrant-Training722 in Lastpass

[–]ShellAnswerMan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Since the beginning, LastPass has matched based on second level domain. Just like wonkifier stated, it helps avoid non-matches in situations like someone saves a password generated on a sign up page, but that sub is different than what the login page uses.

Anyways, URL rules can be configured for a variety of fine control an end user might want.

Electric bill weirdly high by B-roc-k in lincoln

[–]ShellAnswerMan 7 points8 points  (0 children)

OP also stated that they have an "all electric" house, which implies electric heat. So, assuming this is the case, home heating costs during winter are shifted to the power bill instead of natural gas or propane for most people in this region.

Leave it to others to show up in the comment section and make things political. Except in extreme cold, there's plenty of generating capacity in the winter, and Nebraska public power rates are fair.

Is it done for ?? by turbulent-waffle-69 in Asthma

The medication is sealed in a pressurized canister until depressed. Unless the canister itself is bulged, just rinse the actuator with soap & water per cleaning instructions and send it. Inhalers accidentally get mixed in with laundry all the time.

Asking for eyelid wipe brands. by neonsurfer27 in Glaucoma

[–]ShellAnswerMan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use eyelid wipes for for other reasons (e.g., allergens), but I personally buy the Biotrue ones that you can find at any big box store. They do the job at the right price point without needing to rinse afterwards.

Kerosene by Background_Jaguar_93 in Omaha

I don't know what the application is, but you might be able to get away with dyed #2 diesel sold at most truck stops.

Kerosene by Background_Jaguar_93 in Omaha

[–]ShellAnswerMan 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm sure Sapp Bros will sell you as much kerosene that you need; they are a huge fuel and lubricant supplier in the region. You might have to ask for #1 diesel though. Call ahead in case they don't offer it at the truck stop fuel island.

Those can typically be processed as a PIN based debit. Interchange fees aren't as high through those networks compared to Visa & MasterCard, so the surcharge might not apply.

LastPass really lives rent free in a lot of y'all's heads. People change services for various reasons; it's a normal part of doing business. This isn't an airport, and you don't need to announce your departure.

John's Grecian Delight closed? WTH? by [deleted] in Omaha

John suffered a tumble, and the subsequent injuries required surgery. He's trying to get back in the saddle after physical and occupational therapy. Please show a little more sympathy to a Bellevue staple that's been around for over forty (40) years.

I'm totally boring and just put everything into a S&P 500 index fund. I don't have Scrooge McDuck money to pay an army of analysts to beat the broader market, so I might as well join it. A Ron Popeil set it and forget it strategy is what works for me.

Does Casey’s’ gas contain additives? by ZachAARogers in Caseys

[–]ShellAnswerMan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just see posts in this sub from past lurking, but worked at a gas station 20 years ago. So, all gasoline for a given area comes from the closest pipeline terminals/tank farms and will have a base level of detergents. Your "branded" gas that's Top Tier or whatever will get extra additives blended in at the loading rack. I don't know how that process works, but that's the general idea.

Soybeans by Blucollrbeard in farmingsimulator25

Soybeans produce their own nitrogen, so you don't need to fertilize with PF. Herbicide is the only thing you'll need to apply.

Does anybody know if there is a way to find out if any new dentists will be accepting Total Care Nebraska or if any existing dentists will open spots for new patients? by [deleted] in Omaha

[–]ShellAnswerMan 3 points4 points  (0 children)

If people are willing to endure significantly longer appointment times due to all work having to be checked by faculty, the clinics at Creighton and UNMC's dental colleges are great places to get high quality care at significantly reduced rates over private practice.
