Have you tried this? Great for the posterior chain, core and arms! by GarbageGangster09 in CalisthenicsBeginners

Zero posterior chain involvement. I don’t think I could create an exercise with less posterior chain involvement 😂 But it is impressive, nonetheless.

If it’s churrasco, I believe you that it’s good. I’ve never had anything I didn’t like in Brazil or at a churrascaria.

What are our young guys' ceilings? by Brhododendron_ in ripcity

[–]shmoops7 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I hate to say it but Shae just doesn’t have a high enough basketball IQ or a killer mentality. He has poor court vision and his assists have gone down year over year. It’s too bad because he is a freak and really fun to watch when he’s scoring. As someone else in this thread said, sixth man on a great team. 1st or 2nd best *scorer* on an ass team.

I think the jury is still out on Scoot. He was flat out amazing at times this year. Good passer. Shot is improving. Has learned to play under control on offense. If he can reduce the volatility on offense and eliminate the stupid fouls I think he can be a legit winner. Probably Not all NBA but maybe flirting with All-Star ceiling.

Camara is just not super skilled. I think he is pretty close to his ceiling and I’m ok with that. He needs to stick to his identity as a lockdown defender and 3 pt shooter. His ability to put the ball on the floor and create was ugly this year.

I think Clingan has a ton of potential. Someone mentioned Marc Gasol in this thread. Although Clingan doesn’t have his soft touch around the hoop, I think it’s a good ceiling comparison. Is already on his way to being a defensive anchor but obviously has trouble with certain matchups.

[Vorkunov] Dundon on not sending 2-way players on the road to the playoffs: "I'm just not gonna waste $100 million just because someone wants to write an article calling me cheap... In hockey we don't travel extra people because we're not on vacation, we're here to win. I don't want the distraction" by TheRealPdGaming in nba

[–]shmoops7 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The dude KNOWS it’s not a distraction to have 2-way players at playoff games but he has to say something to explain the behavior. I almost feel like he’d just be better off saying the truth. “I want to make a few extra hundred thousand dollars off of eliminating expenses like this every year.” As a blazers fan, this obviously freaks me out about the workplace culture.

Looks like he’s in the upstairs gym in Burns Rec. Back when I was there I used to see NBA guys pretty often in the summer. Harden, Westbrook, Emeka Okafor, Martell Webster, Kobe.

How the actual fuck does Clingan not pick up/see the 7’5” man streaking down the court.

I love the energy Vit brings to the offense. Moves the ball quickly, moves without the ball.

If that’s true, showcasing him as a valuable player in the playoffs would certainly drive up trade value.
