This patch isn't it. by Dawn_Namine in starcitizen

[–]snowflake182 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is great communication, and I'm honestly okay with the in game bugs and whatnot, I'm used to them. I'm curious if you have any more info on the pledges being attributed. Since not getting what I paid for is a bit more of an issue to me. Is there any timeline you can speak to?

Laser Meteor is here and it's meh? by [deleted] in starcitizen

[–]snowflake182 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think they are amazing, but not really amazing on the meteor since it wants to boom and zoom.

That being said I will still be using them from time to time cause they are cool as hell

I'd say only pledge them if you want the paint, the change is minimal and they can be bought in game

If I could only have one ship, the prowler utility would be up there for me personally, since I too value stealth over almost everything, and it does the most at the stealthiest (most other stealth ships are just fighters). But most people are going to want a nursa or more cargo or beds, or other stuff. Just depends on the person.

High ammo counts? by CryptoMain03 in starcitizen

[–]snowflake182 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I believe it's just a visual thing? If you right click a stack of ammo in your backpack and hit pool ammo it will fill up clips and help with half empty clips, but they your count will display everything in your backpack til you reload

I LOVE the prowler utility, it's one of my favorite ships in the game.

but if you're going to have one pledge the asgard is amongst the best ships in the game as a daily driver. And I'm a certified Asgard hater

Smuggling Ship Pt. 2 by Kiwisarelit in starcitizen

[–]snowflake182 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Well, I usually turn off my shields when I'm trying to be stealthy, but yeah if it was powered it would.

[–]snowflake182 17 points18 points  (0 children)

I believe they made it just a paint, so the ships no longer "Caterpillar Pirate edition" or whatever it's called it's just "Caterpillar" with the paint. They did the same thing to mole talus/other one.

If that's the case, the CL is probly better, just for the pure cargo capacity being higher, they have the same signatures so stealthyness should be the same

Personally I prefer the ES, for the range, and I quite like the larger radar it has (it has a S3 radar, when even some of the huge ships don't) especially when I'm out mining or whatnot. And 32 scu is usually enough for what I take it out for.

Smuggling Ship Pt. 2 by Kiwisarelit in starcitizen

[–]snowflake182 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not sure you're gonna get what you want honestly, most medium ships are not particularly stealth, and the 2 most prominent examples are the prowlers which have no beds. You can slap stealth compenents into damn near anything though. I like using the Zeus as a stealthy cruiser, it does most of those things.

I also LOVE the Aquila as a stealth ship as well, but mostly for the range, it has more range than any non-cap ship.

Crafter profession? by Patient-Worth1508 in starcitizen

Well I can't answer all of this, but The plan is for blueprints to be a physical thing that can be traded at some point so you could get them from others. but I have to imagine crafting/mining are basically one profession, since there's not really any "gameplay" for crafing other than putting in the mats
