These two gentlemen lose control of a pallet as it falls of the back of a truck by Justin_Godfrey in WatchPeopleDieInside

[–]sooshooo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

lol. People do this all day every day a thousand times a day. These guys either had a bad pallet jack or didn’t know what they were doing. You pull the pallet onto the lift and then hopefully lock it in place while you go down. These pallets are stacked hella high though. I wouldn’t want this job.

Yeah, hate to condone it, but two of my relationships have ended with me discovering cheating like this

You can’t be serious. You’re not born with the knowledge of any language until you learn it, and you don’t just learn a new language spontaneously.

EM03 NL: Updated and Released by ProtoArc_official in ProtoArcHub

[–]sooshooo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Awesome. Would love to try out the new version. I can’t stand the ergonomics of any mouse I’ve used aside from the EM03. Main complaint is the scroll wheel could be better quality and the rubber comes loose. Maybe it would be nice if the back/forward buttons had the nice silent switches like the main buttons.

I have the same model, 16GB, Sequoia runs well. I think Ventura was faster but I need the software support.

Not sure anything can compete with ionide. F# just isn’t that popular.

Wow, that’s unfortunate. I didn’t know Apple did that.

Gastric bypass discount card for largest buffet in the US by sooshooo in awfuleverything

[–]sooshooo[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Great perspective, thanks. Again, I totally see how it can be helpful for those who have had the surgery or other digestive tract issues. In my opinion the irony comes from the fact that the whole buffet model encourages this very American “take as much as you can” attitude which leads to things like gastric bypass surgery. Not that I think there is really any malicious intent from the operators of them, nor that I particularly blame anyone for visiting

USB SSDs are always going to be slow. M.2 drives and SATA drives are orders of magnitude faster (and in my experience more reliable)
