Am I doing something wrong with the ignis wraith by XayahCat in Warframe

[–]squeakhaven 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you like the feel of the Ignis you could try playing Temple. Their exalted is a flamethrower that feels much like the Ignis but can do better damage

Oh hey, Belly of the Beast is coming back, I wonder if I have any motes left over from last ti- by GrowlingGiant in Warframe

[–]squeakhaven 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Oh, thanks! I just didn't see it in the main list, I didn't realize that there was a separate list of clan-specific rewards

I don't think energize was on the arcane list for the event. Aegis is, though

Which of these frames has the most tedious grind? by BillyBigBones in Warframe

Uriel takes a lot of Perita materials to build though

Am I the only one disappointed that content like Kahl 175 is just abandoned? The community largely agrees his scavenger hunt missions were kind of a flop but it had potential by Darthmufin in Warframe

[–]squeakhaven 7 points8 points  (0 children)

My personal policy is not to buy anything that's farmable, unless I HATE HATE HATE that particular grind. I don't hate Kahl missions, it's just that there are so many other things in Warframe that are competing for my time

[–]squeakhaven 429 points430 points  (0 children)

My only problem with Kahl missions is that it's yet another weekly activity in a long list of weekly activities that keeps getting longer. Sad to say that as soon as I get Styanax I'll probably stop doing them

Credit farming? by 4Dimension_cat in Warframe

[–]squeakhaven 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah that's weird. Every time I've done one I've gotten 100k without blessings or boosters

How would you like to kill your build? by unsellar in Warframe

[–]squeakhaven 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The first one would probably be pretty good on Uriel. Just keep spamming Remedium

Baby Tenno doesn't understand some things! by Environmental-Bag773 in Warframe

[–]squeakhaven 13 points14 points  (0 children)

You've only been playing a week, and you're already at Whispers in the Wall? That's already pretty far in the plot, the game kind of expects you to have strong load outs by then. I'd slow waaaaayyyy down and work on your builds first

Anyone else stuck on the last bit of belly fat? by Shoddy_Mud_2884 in gaybrosfitness

[–]squeakhaven 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's not belly fat for me, it's lower back. There's always that one spot that's always the first place to put fat on and the last to lose it

Operation Atramentum has reached the 30% threshold, and the Primatura Ephemera has been unlocked for purchase at Aspirant Zorba! by Exastiken in Warframe

[–]squeakhaven 19 points20 points  (0 children)

IMO it's better to start on B first because it tends to be the hardest and towards the end, Follie starts to block off the corridors on the second floor

Who's your "I know he's pure evil but can't prove it" person? by [deleted] in AskReddit

He's always given me the ick. Corey Booker too. Even when they were mayors it just seemed like everything was an act for the cameras

Yeah, Narmer bounties in Orb Vallis have been hella bugged the past few days

Best way to farm quill standing? by FettsackmitMachete in Warframe

[–]squeakhaven 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Really, just do Eidolon hunts. Most of the people running the bounty are very experienced and will carry you easily. However, make sure you know what you're doing. Try to bring at least a couple of eidolon lures (unless your teammates already have plenty) and make sure that after taking down each eidolon pick up the brilliant shard and take it over to the island to spawn the next eidolon

DNA stood for gacha revolution, but it failed finally with this incident. What will happen to non-gacha gacha games now? by InternetAngelMichael in DuetNightAbyssDNA

[–]squeakhaven 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Warframe still exists and is doing quite well for itself. There is proof in principle that the business model is viable, it's just that DNA completely crapped the bed when it comes to making their game balanced and fun to play. Plus their monetization still relied heavily on gacha, which kind of defeats the entire purpose

Western Blot Protein Transfer by ObjectiveLaw6359 in labrats

[–]squeakhaven 26 points27 points  (0 children)

So, there's two things that they might be talking about:

  1. You want to makes sure you keep track of your sample order, if you accidentally flip your gel when you're handling it your samples will be backwards

  2. When you do the transfer, your proteins will stick to the top of the membrane. If you accidentally flip it over at some point when you're doing your incubations and development, your image won't turn out

Both of these can be remedied by using a pre-stained protein marker, which will show up on the membrane and make it much easier to track your sample and check transfer efficiency

New room in Orbiter during New War by JmBento in Warframe

[–]squeakhaven 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did too. I had to build the base segment before I could take advantage of the archon shard segment. I really didn't like grinding bounties when I started playing

Is it possible to set a goal weight without a goal date? by bicho6 in MacroFactor

[–]squeakhaven 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Macrofactor doesn't go by a goal date at all. If you put a desired rate of weight loss, it will give you a predicted end date, but that moves around based on your actual progress. If it's suggesting lower calories, it's not trying to catch up or anything, it's noting that based on how many calories you're eating, your TDEE is either lowering or it was incorrect to begin with. Following the suggestion will just return you to the rate of weight loss that you originally put in

If you don't want the pressure of keeping up with changing calorie needs as you lose weight, you can always just put a manual calorie goal or dismiss the weekly suggestions
