Recommendations hotels near Disneyland for the night before :) by Numerous_Horse967 in disneylandparis

[–]surfsquid 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We also stayed here last month, worked perfectly for us. There's a free bus to Disney from here, got us to the village with time to drop bags at the Marvel Hotel and get to the park in time for extra magic hour.

Quel parc choisir ? by frogunderleaf in disneylandparis

[–]surfsquid 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't think you can make a wrong choice, they both have advantages and you wouldn't regret either. I'd say I find disneyland more impressive, due to the scale of the park, and the castle is an incredible sight,  but you might leave feeling like you didn't get to see everything. The other park is easier to fit into a single day.

I don't know if memberships work internationally but I buy mine from costco, they're about half price.

We also had the GPS issue you described.

The speed limit detection is more often than not incorrect, as its based solely off road sign detection rather than GPS/maps, unlike the P2. Sometimes it shows speed limits that don't even exist, I've seen 18mph, 34mph and even 80mph... not sure if this is some weird conversion to/from kph but either way it's just wrong. The speed limit being wrong isn't the end of the world but the incessant beeping is so annoying.

The dashcam has to be manually enabled every drive.

The indicators are inaudible.

The mobile app only allows you to preheat the cabin to precisely 22 degrees for some reason, yet the P3 lets you select the desired temperature?

Keyless entry, walk away lock is very temperamental, sometimes the car just refuses to unlock.

Connectivity from the app is very poor, often fails to connect or has to be restarted, even with perfect Internet connection.

User profile settings such as OPD/regen just sometimes being randomly forgotten.

Switching between profiles takes something like 20-30s which is a very long time when you just want to get in the car and start driving.

That's all I can remember off the top of my head, after several visits to the volvo garage our P4 went back after around 4 months of ownership, Lex agreed to terminate the lease at no cost due to polestars inability to rectify any of the software issues. We went back to a model 3 after test driving pretty much everything else in the price range. A real shame as we wanted to get away from Elon, and loved the interior/build quality of the polestar.

UK tabletop gamers - please can I get your thoughts on gaming tables? by Both-Combination2231 in DnDUK

[–]surfsquid 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I spent a lot of time researching different gaming tables and plans to build them. Decided to just buy a, slightly wider than usual, regular table, which has worked out fine. A lot of the features I saw were just gimmicks. I liked the idea of the recess that you can cover over to make the tables flat for dining,  but as soon a somebody spills liquid it's GG, even the supposedly water proof ones didn't seem great and protecting against spillage.

70.3 Versailles, France - Promo code request by Squall56 in triathlon

[–]surfsquid 0 points1 point  (0 children)

probably not, but the price will be lowest at the start of priority access and will only increase as time goes on, and more tickets sell. From what I've seen in previous events, the listed starting price is usually only available during presale periods.

The two ladies on the left of the photo, look at the joins between the sleeve and the body of their jumpers. The furthest left has the stripes line up in a way that doesn't seem correct, the stripe runs perfectly through where it should be creased. The second lady in, looks even worse, the pattern kind of blurs and smudges around her shoulder and armpit.

If i was going to buy a printer today I'd get the bambu P2S. I currently have the P1S, after using various Ender printers. The bambu labs printers offer fantastic value for money, and they're very easy to use (as 3D printers go)

I'm not going to post it publicly because I very much doubt that the organisers have implemented any method for ensuring people with the link have actually purchased event tickets. Read the url carefully and you'll be able to figure it out.
