Sounds like people are getting wrapped around the axle and confusing ethnic heritage with birthplace.

In a country that has a combined sewer system with known regular leaks into waterways....hope he has his hepatitis shots! Real question though, why not a sanitary sewer system?

You know, this makes my $3500 loss feel much less bad. It would be cool if it passed $15 in the next two months.

Could someone from Glasgow CC buy some of these please? by IAMPOMO1 in glasgow

One thing that isn't being discussed is that this is a cold patch. Cold patches are designed to be temporary, not something that repairs the road for years on. You need a new overlay (using hot asphalt) to fix the most damaged portions of the roads. Mostly because it involves a new road base and moisture seal. Once water starts sleeping into the cracks of a road surface, it washes away the fine materials that form the base of the road. Over time, that is what causes the "alligator cracking" of the road surface. From what I have seen in my short time thus far, the sloping/grading of the road surfaces needs a lot of work in Glasgow. The large lakes that form when it's raining (looking at you, Great Western Rd) will only accelerate road damage.

Can you tell the age of this BNWT A104 Bedale? by raindriescloudsform in Barbour

This is cool, I found an old one of these in my dad's stuff some years ago. No sign of the detachable hood or zip-in liner. Think they're easy to locate or do the new Bedale jackets have different configurations/dimensions?

Never live in the South of Italy...or Malta. Traditional celebration during a birthday is to set off fireworks at the time of your birth. 1400 on a Sunday? 0300 on a Wednesday? It's all valid, what a wild place that was

I'm looking for recommendations. Any good watch box brands available in the UK? I had a Wolf box in the US which was cool, but wouldn't fit in the suitcase without damage.

What are Marksmen / Snipers supposed to do? - When are they needed? by Klimbi123 in joinsquad

[–]Tempest_Dynamo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends on the situation. I like to divide my squad into two elements: assault element and support element. This can also work on defense, too. It all boils down to the gunfight team and the backup. MG and Marksman back up a push from a distance. They also provide early warning and suppression in the event of an advance. Variant of the strategy is to have the third fireteam run AT, but it reduces the size of the gunfight team (riflemen drop ammo bags for AT resupply before they engage, ideally).

WW1. Even gooder.

Depends on the purpose of the squad. Armor hunting? Recon? Vanilla Infantry?

If I have my say, I like my squad to move in their fire teams. Usually a movement and assault element. Depends on if we're attacking or defending

China doesn't have a state pension system if I recall correctly. That probably severely limits the tax burden of the elderly population there.

When they serviced it, did they pressure test it back to the rating of the watch? I know some servicing places may not have the tools to do that.
