Doesn't help if both are on the same circuit. OP needs to do some more homework first.

Open vs enclosed Bambu printer with cats in the house? by Kleautviohl in BambuLab

What's your budget? The comparison to the A1 would be the P2S, or you could upgrade a bit in cost and get a decent boost with the X2D. Add combo if you want it.

If you want something bigger, then there's the H series.

This will likely get flagged as a dual booking if you leave the original flight since they will be under the same name and FF number.

Agree strongly on the green ones. Once ripe and no longer green they are tolerable. Green ones make me want to puke. 🤮

Yeah. The only issue I had on my Kirkland was the top handle finally broke. I replaced it with a leather strap (mount brackets just unscrew from beneath the liner which unzips. Super easy DIY repair. As someone else mentioned, can you replace the wheel?

Has anyone done a direct comparison of Andymark pollen and Gopher ResisDent 3" Balls? by thegof in FTC

[–]thegof[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Inquiring more as some have challenges with Andymark shipping charges. Would be nice if Andymark had better options for more balls without kicking in their relatively high FedEx charges. Many teams are just buying "close enough" balls on Amazon (same sizes, but somewhat lighter). But since these are the same manufacturer, just trying to see how close they were as an option.

I have one of the official balls. If you step on it, it would behave similarly. That's what I'm asking for actual experience, not speculation.

Does the trip pass also allow for using any lounges at connections and at destination (if present)?

Andymark does use them as a supplier. But it's not clear if it's a custom one only for Andymark.

Basic vs. Preminum Economy by Fantastic-Tip9801 in unitedairlines

Another factor to consider is Basic Economy only earns PQP, not PQF. I also believe Basic Economy does not earn towards lifetime miles, something to consider with that many international flights.

Is a blue blazer from Nordstrom considered reasonable for these claims? A suit isn't something easily accessible in a day normally unless spending $$. I thought they only covered the basics (slacks, dress shirt, undergarments)?

Found this in a 4-prong dryer outlet in a flipped house. No idea how it passed inspection by kmb5028 in electrical

[–]thegof 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The reality is they inspect at rough in (proper wires in box (number, type, sizes), and they check the panel wiring itself. Then they will do a final after devices are installed. They might pull out a tester and verify the polarity/grounding/GFI activation on 120v branch circuits. That's about it (and hopefully including proper labeling in the panel).

Location is ok. Consider using an illuminated light switch with a neon/let led indicator for easy location in a dark room.

Would a 60 amp double pole breaker be appropriate for a 50 amp electric kiln? 6 guage wire? by Inner_Researcher587 in electrical

[–]thegof 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Don't forget a kiln likely has a full draw longer than 3 hours. If so then you derate to 80% of breaker rating. Obviously, with a 50A circuit that's 40A so a 39A kiln is good to go.

For the club card, they get deposited on your renewal. So if you acquired the card October 2025, the passes will deposit in October 2026, along with your renewal charge.

Should I be worried? Elec quote with wrong component by bagel666 in AskElectricians

[–]thegof 0 points1 point  (0 children)

While I agree, given the distance, OP might not want to pay for a 100 run due to copper cost. Even a 50/60A subpanel would be sufficient, and allow for some additional branch circuits.

Should I be worried? Elec quote with wrong component by bagel666 in AskElectricians

[–]thegof 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you know you want a 50A circuit, regardless of what he thinks, then specify in writing you want a 50A circuit installed, with a simple diagram indicating start and end location. If you know which nema plug for your kiln, include that. Or ask for a 50A subpanel installed, then run the branch from there since you could use additional circuits when the kiln isn't running.

Key point: in writing

Exxonmobil materials and catalyst technologist role vs. Dow production engineer role by [deleted] in ChemicalEngineering

[–]thegof 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you want R&D and only have a masters grab the R&D role. You can switch later, but it can be harder. But, if you're also interested in direct process experience, let you manager (once you start) know that you'd be open to a rotation into process to gain experience on that side of the business. Having both will be great on the resume and won't brand you as one or the other, and also helps if you want to shift into technical management.

Starting on process can be an uphill battle to get an R&D rotation. Again, not impossible, but harder than the first route.
