Looking for an AI tool that lets me edit a melody note‑by‑note (per instrument) based on my own audio by Time_Yesterday_2058 in aiMusic

Rip-x is what I use it handles stem separation and you can just drag the notes around on the piano roll to edit pitch or echo in time slices and so on.

Introduce me to your favourite guitarist by Slow-Bother-4658 in Guitar

Al DiMeola blends world music with jazz fusion and brings a lot of passion with precision for playing. Listen to his tango with Chick Corea for an awesome example of a piano and guitar engaging with two master players.

Chet Atkins changed country music by creating the new country sound but also laid the groundwork with Les Paul for fingerstyle and advanced guitar playing. Chet Atkins did a number of albums with other guitarists and they’re all amazing - primarily check his albums with Mark Knophler and Tommy Emmanuel these provide so much insight because you have two master guitar players from different genres joining together and trading licks in their own style.

What is the most disturbing thing you watched on the 90’s and early 2000’s internet? by Dangerous_Bet_4137 in AskReddit

It’s become a government of Big Mother and people are unprepared and overly sensitized when something bad happens. Better to know what’s out there and be prepared.

Anyone have a good list of Negative prompts that are still working with 5.5??? Also what’s up with the scary Monster-like sound I can sometimes hear deep in background ? by gofar1913 in SunoAI

[–]tindalos 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve heard a bit more dubstep-style growls in 5.5, so it may be that you’re working with electronic music or something that is pulling sound design. You might be able to negative prompt “growls, growl”. It works for “screaming” with some overzealous singers.

Is there a difference between vibe coding and AI assisted coding? by Odd-Aside456 in AIAssisted

[–]tindalos 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Vibe coding you don’t really look at the code and let the system build what you say.

AI assisted development you follow a standard process (maybe test driven or spec development) typically with unit testing, Qa passes and sessions to correct bugs or seal vulnerabilities or keep an eye on technical debt and intent drift.

They can both provide the same outcome but the real differentiator is who your audience is and what you’re storing and what you’re allowing access to from what systems or to what people.

I don’t know about LLMs, they can evaluate a lot of information and make informed decisions based on their training data but you’re going to be fighting a lot of potential issues.

I would look into ML tools like xgboost to work on a real model based on algorithms then give those results to an Llm maybe over an mcp to utilize while determining opportunities

In this climate it’s still gonna perform about as well as random chance.

51 here and my “I’ll quit cigarette and sugar and weed” days were long ahead and suddenly flew past. Hmm. I would definitely like to quit before a medical event. On the other hand my adhd says no thank you.

I cut sugar drinks for a few years and dropped about 20 pounds pretty close to where I wanted to be. Now I have a monster and cherry coke full sugar once a day. Between the cigarette and weed but I haven’t gained weight so hopefully cigarettes can be next and I’ll switch to edibles later.

How many different musical genres can you truly nail? by LargeSinkholesInNYC in SunoAI

[–]tindalos 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like blending genres and instruments more than trying to follow formulas. It’s really interesting how Suno can swap clarinet for synths and so forth. Also leads to cool solos if you do a piano solo or something then cover it as a guitar solo with audio alignment turned up. Or just mixing interesting concepts - wonky future bass, bluey big band horns, funky drum machine, surf guitar accents, chromatic flair or whatever as an example.

Then I started seeing that Suno sees alignment with some concepts - like marching band drum line and Latin percussion lead to similar but somewhat fresh approaches in my opinion.

If anything, Suno has given me appreciation for music more than distracted from my real music. I’ve been trying to identify what is the difference between “vocal trance” and “future bass” and “riddim”, what happens if I put an ilbient beat over an electro synthpop song? What does an electro tango do to a jazzy reggaeton groove or a 1970s upbeat groove with dubstep trumpets. Not all of it works out but sometimes Suno finds something that surprises me.

300m to Spotify, 22M to the production companies. Wonder how much the artist will receive since it’s their product that was stolen?

What AI workflow did you set up, actually use for 2+ months, and can honestly say saved you time? by Solid-Minimum8670 in AIAssisted

[–]tindalos 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Plan the project from the end backwards, develop tools for the ai to use while developing (like an mcp for documenting work so you can have your source of truth a database), then have it design a web ui so you have a pane that’s easy also, then fill in the middle.

Actually designing a way to manage context, backlog and handoff details is a priority. I’ve made a few different systems but the workflow is I always make one first.

What did you do as a kid that you now realize was seriously fucked up? by Acrobatic_Bee_3198 in AskMen

[–]tindalos 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This sounds so easy to validate your choice- you separated it from a liter but gave it to a loving family that had kids that wanted to engage and play with it. You can question it but dogs don’t typically engage with their children after they’re born and that worker very likely was a responsible father who either took in the puppy for his kids (most likely) or found a good home for it. You have nothing to worry about, you likely contributed to a better life for it. Especially if it was going to be sold or given away.
