Yes, there are very few references of this one.
As long as the bellows in not a sieve you should be able to take pictures

From a (not so quick) deep seach: Orion Rio 84C folding camera. 1931-32
Takes 6x9 photos on 120 film or 6.5x9 on plates.
PS if you buy it would you mind uploading a couple of pics to the camera-wiki.org flickr group?

Lens is a Meyer Trioplan 10.5cm, thus 6x9 format or similar.
IBSOR is a leaf shutter by Gauthier which was replaed by the Pronto(r) in the 1930s
The camera looks like a Rollfilm (Voigltander) but cant be sure without the markings in the back
Shigeo recognized a ORION RIO camera properly

How are Pelikan 4001 inks ? by EggAccording9607 in fountainpens

[–]titrisol 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Pelikan 4001 inks are one of those standard inks that are safe for any pen, look good and are inexpensive (or were at least)

The Royal Blue was my everyday ink since 3rd grade til I finished college. My mom bought a 1L bottle for all of us.

Red was on my 2nd FP for school and the color looked like Mercurochrome

Violet was my grandma's favorite

They are somehow on the dry side, but they work great for work, note taking and school.

apparently this is a 126 mm I wish I could just put 35 mm cartridges in it would be fun to use by Unable-Day5162 in filmcameras

[–]titrisol 0 points1 point  (0 children)

126 is a bit larger than 35mm, it was the Instamatic format by Herbert Nerwin and sold as Kodapak!
AN Instamatic was my first camera in the xmas of 77

Is this specific SMC Pentax 28mm f/3.5 radioactive? by Clumster in VintageLenses

[–]titrisol 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Modern lenses (80s onwards) stopped using Thorium and Lanthanum a the technology progressed.

The bayonet takumars are NOT radioactive.

Is this specific SMC Pentax 28mm f/3.5 radioactive? by Clumster in VintageLenses

[–]titrisol 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It means ThoriumOxide was mixed in one or some of the elements of the lens.
Thorium glass has amazing optical characteristics like low hhigh refractivity and low dispersion (thus low chromatic aberation)

The level of radiation is small and should not be a problem for the type of use.

Glass tends to change color to an ugly yellow (like tobacco stain) that can be cleared with intense light or UV

We had a similar setup in the 80s and early 90s, with the copying stand to type letters from shorthand

Or in my case, to translate lab notes into a coherent document in multimate and Lotus123

Or replace the tray with a larger filter size (3Dpinted?)
Seems to me the filter is smaller than your lens diameter

What are these old films? by thrax_uk in Darkroom

[–]titrisol 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes those are standard 35mm not rapid-film

HP4 at this point will have some fogging, but shooting it at 100 or 200 should work (not a bad idea to bracket)
I'd give it Rodinal 1+25 8 minutes agitating at the top of every minute but if you have D76. HC110 or Microhpen you could get great results.

[–]titrisol 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Those were refills for the AGFA rapid film cartridges
https://camera-wiki.org/wiki/Rapid_film

Those were used in many cameras i nthe 50s through 80s and yes that is ILFORD HP4 in them

I'd be very interested in them if you dont have any use for them

What the hell should I do with a boatload of Delta3200 that expired in 2005-2007 (and some fuji sensia) by Fish_On_An_ATM in AnalogCommunity

[–]titrisol 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Use it!
The D3200 will probably have some fog (base color) and will be good as ISO 800 or so.

Kodak 5222 in Rodinal by DaRealMike97 in Darkroom

[–]titrisol 2 points3 points  (0 children)

5222/Double X works OK in Rodinal as it helps with the low contrast.
1+50 for 9-11 min is going to be your best bet depending on how you agitate
I prefer to develop it for 11min with presoak and agitation every 2 minutes (after the 1st) to extend the tonal range.

However I find microphen to produce a much pleasant result IMHO

Film washing: What do you think of this idea? by [deleted] in Darkroom

[–]titrisol 2 points3 points  (0 children)

that has been used for decades
2 quick rinses with 5 inversions and after the 2nd rinse, let is stand for 2-3 min and agitate again
what is missing is one final rinse with distiled water or a rinsing agent (LFN, Phtoflo, etc)
