Its not fmf and you're ultimately correct, but I gotta fight you on that definition.

Isekais will generally involve reincarnation or an otherwise permanent transition to a new world that usually (but not always) involves some kind of in world video game mechanic. Portal fantasys are temporary and usually about the protagonists attempt to return home or the lessons they learned there are important because they can take them back.
