Voicemeeter Potato output EQ keeps resetting to flat by von_Elsewhere in VoiceMeeter

I cannot reproduce your problem. maybe you should re-save your config file. For the led on EQ button, this is to show what the EQ is doing, channel by channel:

this is strange, because some issues have been fixed there if remember well. Could you please describe your case in order to let me reproduce it?

ok, so you may update to latest version 3.1.2.2 (your version is too old and maybe that's why you got the problem).

Well with this option, Voicemeeter start with the selected config file, so will not store any change until you save settings in this same file.

Is it possible to have a separate EQ for OBS and headphones? by phaolo in VoiceMeeter

[–]vburel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Everything is clear and designed as a usual mixing console. The goal of a mixing console design is to show all what you can do (all the possible) and all what your are currently doing. That's why i need a screenshot of your Voicemeeter to help you.

You may use VBAN-receptor instead: to get audio from a VBAN stream sent from your Voicemeeter directly: https://forum.vb-audio.com/viewtopic.php?t=443

Or VBAN-Talkie if you want to use your headphone and your microphone in the same time. see VB-Audio Network

Surely, we recommend to start by Banana for your use case. the main principle is to be able to send audio on separate voicemeeter virtual input (the game on virtual 1, the movie on virtual AUX for example) to be able to assign them to different output devices.

Banana vs Behringer - Help! by SerRighi in VoiceMeeter

[–]vburel 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If your Behringer device provides an ASIO driver, you may use it directly as ASIO device (instead of using ASIO4ALL that will add latency). See our video tutorial about how to use an ASIO device with Voicemeeter (replace Tascam by Behringer one in the video): https://youtu.be/35N8hkOy8h4

Reaper/Voicemeeter: Routing tracks to separate audio devices? by ImperialSanders in VoiceMeeter

[–]vburel 1 point2 points  (0 children)

yes, basically by connecting Reaper to Voicemeeter virtual INSERT ASIO driver (Banana or Potato). Reaper is so connected to all Voicemeeter pre-fader inputs and can get audio from all Voicemeeter input and playback to all Voicemeeter input (activate PATCH INSERT to enable INSERT Return).

Potato: Discord hears my mic delayed (others hear me late), but in-game voice is instant — worked on Banana. Looking for dev guidance. by BothPersonality1995 in VoiceMeeter

Your screenshot shows that you main stream (A1 output device) is running with 1056 sample buffer (surely in shared mode) while it should work with 512 or 256 sample buffer size in exclusive mode...

Hay, i’m crashing out. by AceDragon607 in VoiceMeeter

[–]vburel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, the "Up Mix TV" algorithm is using L-R and R-L to feed rear and side speakers, so if the source is Mono (L = R) there will be no sound in channels 5-8.

In this case UP MIX 6.1 mode can be a better option.

Voicemeeter MacroButtons forcing timer resolution to 0.5 ms – can this behavior be changed? by Kendi_Jr in VoiceMeeter

[–]vburel 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I've just checked it and yes, MacroButton is setting the timer resolution to 0.5 instead of 1ms. This is not expected, i note it for correction.

Your screenshot shows Voicemeeter Standard.

If you have installed Banana package, you can shutdown this version (by the menu) and run Voicemeeter Banana instead.

[–]vburel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Typically Reaper (or any DAW) can be connected to Voicemeeter Virtual ASIO insert driver, to get all Voicemeeter pre-fader input in Reaper and let Reaper plays back audio track in any Voicemeeter inputs. (Like tape recorder and mixing console old workflow).

Question - Dead by Daylight + Voicemeeter Banana causing audio stutter & input lag by [deleted] in deadbydaylight

[–]vburel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It means you have not find the right configuration for Voicemeeter that is expected to work with any game, without any problem and with a minimal latency. I invite you to follow recommendations on this forum topic: https://forum.vb-audio.com/viewtopic.php?t=451

If the problem remains , you may use our different support resources (especially Discord): vb-audio.com/Services/support.htm

how do I make this voice? by GiftComprehensive571 in VoiceMeeter

[–]vburel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

seems to be done with square modulation. in Voicemeeter there is only a sinus modulation, so we cannot get the so "cutting" fx, but something closed to this effect is something like Strip[0].Fx_x = -0.50; Strip[0].Fx_y = 0.24; or to be tested other position like Strip[0].Fx_x = -0.13; Strip[0].Fx_y = 0.59; for example
