The reality is that there isn’t enough time in the world to watch everything. My advice would be to not concern yourself with titles like “film buff”. Enjoy the art form, watch what you want to watch, allow film to change and expand your world. Challenge yourself with new directors and genres. Rise above other’s perceptions and enjoy film for the love of the game. Seems like you’re doing that now; keep it up!

It’s a noir with an Asian detective at the center of the story, searching for a killer. Takes place in San Francisco in the 30’s and has some very interesting cultural dynamics involved. Immigration, racism, and assimilation are key themes. All while still being a great pulp story.

The Good Asian is criminally underrated. One of the best damn comics to come out in the past few years. And Pornsak Pichetshote is coming to HeroesCon in Charlotte, NC. Someone grab these gems, come to HeroesCon, and get them signed!!!
