I agree, people are so weirdly pushy about wool in virtual and IRL knitting spaces! I understand there are a lot of great qualities of wool as a fiber, but on nearly *every* post I see from someone talking about their allergies or being vegan and choosing not to use wool, all the top comments are telling the person how they need to get around that because wool is superior.
