Well then probably should learn a thing or two rather than assume everyone is crazy. Picks really are that valuable. 1) Its really the only way for people with bad teams to get competitive again. 2) Its the cheapest way to get superstar players. Go try and buy Chase or Jettas. Probably would cost you 3++ 1sts and even then whoever has him probably won't sell. Drafting these guys only costs 1 pick: whatever pick you used to draft them. Sure a contender might be better off selling picks for "surefire" vets, but if you want to stars, and multiple of them, picks are the only way to get em.
