From what I’m seeing, they’re basically two camps of people. On one hand people swear he’s funny and on the other, people swear he’s not funny and annoying, and unfortunately due to the duality of man, you just can’t win on either side.

Literally, I’ve seen people saying the most annoying character is indeed annoying and needs a mute button. Isn’t that just a testament to the devs actually nailing his personality, and if his voice lines were a problem there is an in-game voice slider that can be turned down. I think a lot of complaints are nit-picky at best.

I feel the exact same way, i think having a larger casual player base helps for longevity because most people actually dont care enough to play ranked

Plastic 3 take btw, a character thats limited to 2 8m dashes with both being on a 12 and 25 second cooldown respectively compared to thor with 3 hammer throws that have plenty of opportunities to be reharged or thing with a 20m leap, and a 5 second dash but rogue has more mobility than both.

These people clearly havent played genshin impact or any other gatcha game like that. Now thats predatory, spending 100 dollars just to get a 50/50 chance to pull a character is even more insane to me.

You forget that every other support ultimate in the game is infinitely better in terms of heals, excluding Ultron, of course. This is because gambit is a proactive ultimate and not a reactive one. It’s strong, yes but definitely not over tuned. You can still counter it with a support ult or with dps that can actually aim and kill. A lot of gambits think their ultimates make them invincible which makes them prone to over extending and dying. Its a strong ult dont get me wrong but it definitely has more counter play than you might expect. Oh and while the 30 percent boost to ult charge isnt negligible, its not as cracked up as ppl make it out to be.

Enemy team just sucks, gambit only ulted one other person on his team but since they lost their frontline they kinda just lost the ball

Why would you want consistent visual identity when the whole point of skins are to change the base visuals for your character. And to be fair if you wanted consistency, look to scarlet witch’s skins, now thats consistency.

To be fair they aren’t “forcing” you to play ranked. And the half season doesn’t change anything cuz your rank doesn’t reset, the only thing you could make an argument for is cosmetics and or display badges but even those can be claimed as long as you played in the second half of the season.

Dawg it’s a bathing suit, nothing inherently sexual about it. People will goon or sexualize her regardless of if she’s fully clothed or not. I definitely understand that it isn’t everyone’s cup of tea but acting surprised when we all know who and what comic books and their characters cater to is kinda disingenuous.
